My Mechanic put it to work getting a bolt through exactly what it was for and it worked without issues. That’s all I can ask for.

Would never buy anything but Curt again
Curt actually sells parts. Several un-named companies make you buy a complete new hitch. As soon as learned that I regretted I ever installed. Had body shop loose parts to hitch and couldn't replace. Actually used Curt part to repair. Thanks guys for not leaving customers hanging.

Add some length
Works perfect, just too short. Had to splice on a longer length to get through my frame. They did offer a longer one or I would of gave 5 stars

only way to get a bolt in
I don't know who invented this but it is genius. I was putting a trailer hitch on my car. No way I tried could I get one of the bolts through the hole it had to go in. Saw one of these on a youtube video. Easy to figure out and easy to use.

Good tool, but you may not need one
I bought this expecting to need it for a Curt trailer hitch install. As it turns out, Curt included two of these things in with the hitch so I didn't need another. Once you use them though for a couple installs they tend to be kind of pooped out and stretched so they're not exactly highly reusable.

Just what I needed
The one I had broke so I ordered a couple of these. Showed up right away and was the exact length and size needed for the job. Got the bolt through the pipe and fastened.

Good tool to have on hand but I’m sure a wire with a taped bolt on the end would work just the same. Did the trick for installing my hitch.
