Just bought this product. how do i initially use it? remove small rubber plug or no? ugg, feeling so dumb right now...

Sorry I’m not sure about the small rubber plug… all I remember is that you have to push down for the product to come out but definitely when you get low screw the entire top off because there will be a lot of product at the bottom. This new design is super dumb 🙄

Which product has a stronger hold, this balm or the Original Sprout gel?

I think this one. I use the gel for my son's hair but this one is better for braiding or holding hair in place for braids or ponytails.

Can this product be use on beard and mustache

I personally do not use products other than oil on my beard, however, I have used it on my hair and don't see any reason why not. It has a decent hold, it's not greasy and It's made from natural products. The smell leaves something to be desired, but that can be remedied with some essential oils.

I want to give my son a mohawk. Has anyine used this product successfully to do that?

It should work well for that however the packaging has changed since I last bought it so I don't know if the product quality is the same or not.
