Great Item
This motor works much better than my old 1/2 hp Lift Master, and is very quiet. I did not have to change my old rail assembly.

Could use a little more info on the description
Package looks like it was shipped around the world. Packaging not designed to be shipped. Some parts were bent and broken. Lens cover broken(repairable), and one safety sensor bracket was a bent up a bit(repairable). There are a bunch of other parts included but not stated, see image of what was included in package as well. There were also a bunch of other bolts, nuts, and lags screws include to mount the include items. Also included was a Clevis pin for the straight door arm (not included) to trolley (not included). the image of the unit looks like it might be of an older unit. Was able to convert my failing belt drive unit to this chain drive with purchase of chain pulley bracket, Chain, and master link. Did have to fabricate a link to turn a link connection 90 degrees as the belt is mounted a little different from the chain. Recommend buying the trolley assembly.

So far so good.
We’ve had this installed for a couple of months now. Works fine but is a bit slow opening. No real complaints just a little slow.

Warning before you buy from Open Door Enterprises
Before you buy this model,it is big and make sure you should have enough space to clear,Just found out it will not fit in the amount of space I have.Cost of returning back to sender was $78 and $87.80 for restocking fee from Open Door Enterprises,Now i am out $165.80,They had LiftMaster 3255 Contractor Series which is about the same size as my old one, I called them and ask if it will fit and I wanted to buy from them and they said it will not work.I did some research and found out it will work for me, They just didn't wanted to work with me,I was going to pay the different and wanted to buy from Open Door Enterprises. They just figure out it is easier to not sell me 2 of these motors and charge me restocking fee for easy money.I just hate to write review like this one, but had to warn everyone out for making big expensive mistake.

Garage Door Opener
Received unit but one of the plastic closures was cracked. Wrote Liftmaster but no replacement yet!

brand new and defective
I have a hard time believing the defective opener was sold accidentally...

great product!
It is a great product; it worked flawless when I swapped out an old contractor power head with the new power head. I was fortunate that the old T-rail fit with this unit; specifications called for a I-rail which was never mentioned by the manufacturer customer service. This is 4 stars vs 5 stars.

Security Risk - opens randomly
Security risk. Had one of these professionally installed in 2012. Now it is randomly opening at all times of the day and night. I removed all remotes from the system and still having the same problem. Installer says that there are no diagnostics on the opener and the only way to fix this is to "keep replacing parts until we find the one that is bad" - with every replacement being at my expense. Probably cheaper to replace with a reliable brand (like the old Sears opener that this replaced) than take this route. Very disappointed.Update: Problem turned out to be with the 398LM controller fixed to the wall. Still surprised that there is no way of diagnosing/recording what was the source for the last command to open the door. That would be a useful feature for the future.
