Pentair CVA24L 90-Degrees Valve Actuator Replacement Pool and Spa Valve

My solar pool heater works again. This part is not very difficult to replace, though it took a bit of trial and error to set the stop positions so they properly lined up with the two outlets (to solar heater or bypass). Hopefully this one will hold up for more than 3 years.

Fit right on, was set right out of the box.

We just had our pool completed and found a few things we wanted to automate. We now can create a spillway feature without having to manual turn valves. It's really nice to use my phone to turn on features and watch it bring to life the spillway.

Very easy to swap out with the broken unit . Used existing wiring, just unplug wire from old terminal block,and reinstall wire to new terminal block. Just hope this new unit last longer than the 3yrs for the one it replaces.

Standard replacement motor. Last one failed two years. Still, good value. Replaced second of two motors this year. My data indicates motors last 2-3 years, n=2. On-off one time per day. Starting to get expensive.

Actuator quit working after just over 2 months luckily pentair honored warranty even though it was slightly past.
