Hello, please full charge your controller firest. How to pair with your PS4 console? Connect the controller to PS4 console via USB cable when the controller is off. The red charging light turn on then press and hold "HOME" button to pair. In next use just need to press "HOME" button and the controller connects to your PS4 console automatically.
