adidas Men's SS 2G Slide 2M Sandal

I purchased these to replace a worn out pair of Adissage slides. The foam cushion was my reason for purchase and its noticeable when you first put them on but doesn't make you feel like you're walking on pillows, which is a good thing. I just feel like I'm walking on plush carpet, even outside on concrete. The foam completely rebounds to normal in just a couple minutes after taking the slides off. I wear these around and outside the house in lieu of actual shoes, with and without socks on. They didn't need to be broken in either which was an issue with the Adissage. The foam takes the shape of your foot without just sinking down to the sole with each step. The tread on the sole is non marking and grips strong even on a freshly mopped kitchen floor. Something to be aware of: people with wide feet may want to order a size or 2 over their actual shoe size. I don't have wide feet but I can see where those who do would have an issue with a tight fit. I have to recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of slides simply because of the high comfort level of the fitfoam.

Used to wear out cheaper sandals within 3-6 months. These bad boys have lasted me 2 years and still look great, with minimal wear and tear. Great for the home or the beach. They fit just a tad bit on the looser side, but honestly when it comes to sandals it doesn't really matter.

I bought one a couple of years ago and I've been wearing it daily at home. It's still functional, but has a lot of wear and some tear. I love the cushion for the feet and the adjustable band on top. That's the only slipper I'm going to wear. In fact, I bought two of them and I love them.

This if the second pair of these sandals that I have purchased and I love them as much as the first. The only reason I had to buy a new pair is that I wore the old pair so much they just wore at. These are the most comfortable sandal ever made and if Adidas stops making them they are stupid. BUY THESE SANDALS!!!

**UPDATE**The original title of this review was "People with WIDE feet - make sure they FIT WELL." The velcro straps completely lose their adhesive-idity (made up my own word). My wide feet kept bursting them open and they'd fall off or they would start to come lose and I'd stomp on the velcro strap with my other foot or start walking like I forgot to wipe my arse so they wouldn't pop open and fall off. I finally had to resort to SUPER GLUE-ING the damn velcro straps. So there you go, my new updated review of this very comfortable but ultimately "not worth it if you have wide feet" Addidas flip flop.*************************************Original Review -I have extremely wide feet so I had to go for 1 size beyond what I normally would by if they came in an extra wide but these don't. I do have to say they are extremely soft and comfortable with great padding but the velcro straps must be fully engaged. Since I have wide feet I tried to adjust the velcro straps so they gave me more width and the amount of strap patch just wasn't enough to hold them if you start walking about, they constantly would just come undone and you'd find yourself with no shoes on your feet.I finally solved the problem by keeping not adjusting the strap width which made them extremely tight for my feet but I'd condition them by wiggling my feet and forcing them into the sandal and eventually they stretched to accomodate my size and now they are snug and comfortable with a full grip from the strip of velcro.Still a great sandal but the strap will not hold if you try adjusting it wider.

Returned this item because it was uncomfortable in 2 key places. 1) The footbed is nice and soft and padded but the edge of the footbed where it joins up with the outsole is sharp and very stiff. When wearing any type of open-back sandal the position of your heel will vary slightly from step to step and if your heel ends up on or near the edge of the footbed be prepared for that sharp edge to dig into your heel. Not pleasant at all. 2) The leading and trailing edges of the foot strap (the part with the Adidas stripes that wrap over the top of your foot) are also fairly sharp and dig into your foot with each step.It's a shame because it looked like this casual shoe had the potential to be comfy for around the house use but the execution was poor. Returned them immediately.

I've had a variety of sandals and wear them everyday around the house. This particular sandal is easily the most comfortable I've used and it's durable as well. Too bad they discontinued it in favor of the 3G, which simply isn't as comfortable for my feet as the 2G.

Received my shoes as promise but the product did not live up to its promise. The first pair I purchase were super comfortable. These were hard like walking on the ground not happy and returning.
