Kidde 468043 Cabinet, 20 Pound, White

I don't want to mislead anyone so this is just the way I feel because I have done these for over 30 years and they don't make anything like they use to. The only problem I had besides receiving the first one badly damaged and unusable, but the second one was also slightly damaged just below the top edge where the glass goes and had to push out a quarter inch so it wouldn't show but the small strip of metal that protrudes out slightly where the handle sit's looked like it had been pushed out and showed a small slit, so I think most likely that after the first use of the handle will break the strip mentioned above. I have 15 10lb cabinets in stock but really needed it fast and didn't have any 20lb cabinets in stock since I usually don't sell them. The Labels on the side didn't come with the cabinet that is just something I added to make sure the Fire Marshal was happy.Other then my personal experience it is a nice looking cabinet, and perhaps I just got unlucky with the deliveries

Great quality. Made out of metal. You need to provide your own padlock, so only you can access the fire extinguisher without breaking the glass. Comes with metal glass breaker that is not removable without breaking the glass. Has holes in back, so if your extinguisher came with a metal neck holder, the neck holder can be placed inside of here and screwed in, so that way your extinguisher 'floats' inside of the container instead of resting on the bottom. Very happy with the purchase and my handyman said this is a much better one than the other ones he has installed for clients.

I am using this product to make a farewell gift that resembles a fire extinguisher but instead we are going to attach a large can of the person's favorite caffeine drink. In addition, we are fixing a trophy plate on the outside to thank him for the work done. It is a great momento because "break glass in case of emergency" and this guy tended to survive long work hours by drinking tons of his caffeine drink. I was VERY concerned that since we are stationed at an APO military address overseas that this piece would arrive broken. HOWEVER, the company packed it very well and then Amazon boxed it in another box. I will upload a finished project picture later.

Went up in 5 minutes. Lightweight but sturdy, has a zipstrip/tiny padlock eyelet on top to deter theft. Tempered safety glass front breaks into bits, not jagged shards, & is safer for user. (Get the 3 pack red fire ‘stinguisher stickers for sides & frt. @ the same time.) I put these in all my multiplexes & carports.

Fire Marshall came to our triplex and told us we need to provide a fire extinguisher by law. This was one of the lowest price and by a reputable company. Installation was easy and all the parts were there. There was no lock included, so we went and bought one separately. The unit looks professional and the product durable.

bought this because the city said we had to, installed great, it fit out extinguishers fine, not planning to open it soon but I'm sure it'll open easily when wanted. I've accidentally smacked a ball straight on the metal area and it didn't break the glass.

Easy to install and they hold your standard extinguisher nicely. We will see how they hold up to renters.

We needed a place to store an 18" bolt cutter in a hanging box with breakable glass front. This was a perfect fit and I love the handle that breaks the tempered glass front! Price was also great!

It isn't expensive and it does exactly what it's supposed to. I bought this after some kids came into my cafe and decided that it would be fun to take an extinguisher and set it off into the rest of my cafe. This will be another level of deterrent. Ultimately, you can't stop people from being bad people but it's good to dissuade it as much as possible.
