Love it, they work well!
This was my first time buying nail caps for my cats. Despite being a first time buyer, I am very picky and discerning about my purchases, so if these did not work they would've been sent back and received a bad review. I have a hard time believing the good reviews here were paid because the ones doing them are so detailed and thorough in what they wrote. Regardless, I was a little wary after reading the reviews that claimed this product didn't function well.My cat really really hated me doing the first paw, and I didn't bother with the second because he was getting ready to get violent with me, lol. He hates getting his claws trimmed already, but the extra jewelery was just asking a little too much I think, lol.The first one ended up with glue getting outside of it because I didn't realize how quickly and easily the glue would fill it. The trick to this seems to be avoiding the included applicator tips and just putting the tip in there, squeezing the glue out, then letting the bottle suction the excess glue out when you stop squeezing it. This gets a good coat of glue on the entire surface inside the cap without the risk of putting too much glue in it.Most of them slipped right on with little trouble. Some of them seemed a little too small while others seemed a little too large. Overall, though, they all fit him - I bought medium, and he's a 12 lb cat. The one oddball claws that the caps are too big or too small for still took the caps being applied with no trouble, and still kept the caps on afterwards. As long as they CAN slip on, they will stick, it seems. He's had them for a few days now. The first day, I did have to replace two that he managed to get off somehow. After that, though, there hasn't been any more issues with them coming off. My partner put a different brand of caps on his cat, too, yesterday, and he also did not approve lol.In fact, both cats acted pretty pitiful for the first two days over how the caps were making them miserable. After that, they stopped, and are acting normal again. If your cat throws a fit, hang in there. They'll get used to it fairly quickly. You did not mess up, fur-parent, lol. They seem to be plenty enough thick to resist being worn down, and they're hard silicone. They're a bit on the stiff side, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for hard silicone - it still flexes and conforms to fit the nail. I wouldn't get it right up on top of the cuticle, but any woman that's done her own press on nails can warn you that's not a good idea no matter how soft the silicone is, lol. A little glue ALWAYS gets on the outside edge, and will stick to the cuticle if it's right there.I really appreciate that these allow me to quickly clip his nails without having to worry about filing them or making the cut perfectly angled. It doesn't matter how rough the trim is, because their nails aren't going to be making contact with anything else, anyway.Uber awesome idea and I am SO glad I finally got tired enough of the weekly full trimmings and clawed up furniture when I forgot to trim to finally give these a real chance. I can already see how much more humane it is for them in reduced time spent on trimmings!

Maybe wait til they are not so playful
The second photo is my kitty's typical claw use. He uses them like they ARE him. He cried while I put them on, but held still, wrapped in a blanket of course, make sure you wrap him up! Pull the fur back from each claw to apply, and another thing no one tells you is that the clue has to be snipped and then you click on the nozzle bit, to squirt the glue down into the little caps. They were very pretty on him, of course. But he is still quite young, and playful. He uses his claws like he is spider kitty. He somehow was able to mount the couch from the back still, but when he tried the door, like in the photo? I just heard a bunch of failed attempts, each one followed by a meow. I then saw him continuously working to bite them off. I reaffixed 2 of them, but I figure when he gets them off he gets them off. And i wasn't getting these to save my furniture, I could really care less about any couch or recliner. I was trying to save our skin from being tore up when we are in his path and he uses us as a pin cushion. He also loves to climb up and sit on our shoulders, but if he falls or otherwise gets spooked or unsteady, he TRIES TO NOT FALL. Oh God, it hurts. Like screaming bloody-murder hurts. I was really hoping this would be an easy answer. I will update if he somehow forgets they are there and just chills. But he is sleeping somewhere, and has probably pulled them all off with his teeth. And he may hate me now.

Toxic? Not sure, yet.
I got these for my cat and she did well with application. Definitely a 2 person job. They stayed attached well. However, I did end up in pet emergency and looking back at my timelines she seemed to get sick after each application. She is a Sphynx not sure if that has anything to do with it. Again, they worked well for us but I’m trying to decide if I will do the next application to see if these made her sick. :/
