I have naturally oily hands, which normally doesn't affect me too much. But when I started adding pull ups and chin ups to my workouts using a doorway pull up bar (which has the "Entire bar wrapped with high-density, odorless EVA foam") I was really struggling with doing pull ups and chin ups, but especially dead hangs, as my hands would be almost slippery on the foam, making the exercises seem that much harder as I struggled as much to hold the bar as to complete the exercise.I tried workout gloves but it didn't work out. My grip was better but I started getting blisters. So I looked around and found this like chalk product. And it's really a game changer for me.I only use a few drops of it at a time for both hands, and it dries pretty quickly. If I touch something though close to applying it, it does leave a white residue, which is easy enough to clean off. After maybe 30 seconds though, the chalk stays on my hands (which are now white), but touching stuff no longer rubs off. This is great because if I need to use my phone or touch anything in between sets. It also washes off with water very easily and only takes a few seconds to clean off your hands entirely.The increase of grip I have when doing the bar exercises now is amazing, and I'm left to focus solely on the exercise and my form and no longer have to struggle with slipping off the bar.I am just about to buy the larger sized bottled of the two, as I have gone through my initial purchase of the smaller one. I was very happy the smaller bottle lasted me about 4 months, using it 3 times a week.I highly recommended this product if your situation is similar to mine for working out and having slippage on bars.
