Interesting design - 6 month, 1, 2, 4 and 6 year review updates
12/28/19 Update - I have had to replace the hose and the valve seal again this past year. I keep the extra parts and the tools in it's own box, so when there is a problem, I fix in 15 minutes and call Moen for the replacements. From a reliability point of view, this unit is bad. The performance and appearance are great, so I still score a 3 from my situation. For somebody that needs to call a plumber and doesn't understand how to deal with leaky faucets to make sure there is no water damage, this is a risky unit.6/2/18 UPDATE - in 2016 the hose started to leak, squirting sideways. It is a braided plastic hose and probably fails for most after 3-5 years. Moen again sent me a replacement which took me about 30 minutes to install. For last two years the unit has been ok. Summary, good unit. But will need maintenance every few years for either the hose or the o-ring seal on handle. As long as Moen supplies the parts, it's an ok deal.12/15/15 UPDATE - stable now over the last year. I suspect the leaks were related to the tightness of the Oring retainer ring. Instructions said to go finger tight plus one half turn. I suggest finger tight plus 3/4 to 1 turn. I like the unit, would buy again.12/29/14 UPDATE - Well, after another 7 months, developed a leak again that went from a drip to a flow in a couple of days. I had a spare oring that I had purchased in July, but it leaked! Moen delivery will be a week, so I purchased another 2 day delivery replacement valve from Amazon. Also added some plumbers grease (not included with replacement valve) and a 13/16 socket kit to more easily remove the valve. So I am about an hour and about $40 into this repair. I will order another freebie replacement from Moen for the next time, which is likely to come in 7 months. I am wondering if it's the high mineral content of the water here? Dropped my rating to 4 stars.7/23/14 UPDATE - Well, after only 7 months, developed a leak that went from a single drop to 3 drops per second in less than 3 days. Disappointed. I called Moen since they have a life-time warranty and they sent me another cartridge with no charge. You can buy the same cartridge on Amazon for $17. Search "Moen 1255 Duralast Single Lever Cartridge." Took me 10 minutes to replace. I had to use my own 3/32 allen wrench as the wrench they sent with the cartridge kit was too short on the short end, and too long on the long end, to fit in the space to turn the set screw. No more leaks. So generally the good customer service and ease of replacing the cartridge saved their rating, but still, 7 months is not a long time. We will see how long it lasts.INITIAL REVIEW - Hope the designer got a nice bonus. I particularly like the feel and breakaway friction of the handle. Straight forward to install. Quality construction with very consistent stainless workmanship. Just looks and feels classy. This is the most deserving 5 stars I have ever given. Straightforward installation. We'll see how durable it is - I'll check back in with a comment in 6 months. For those looking for it - purchase a Moen 141025 O-Ring Kit for 2.2 gallons/min. Amazon sells this too. (However, side notes to Moen: 1) when I pay $300 for a faucet (that comes with the reduced 1.5 gallon/min flow aerator), I don't understand why you just don't included the 2.2 gallon/min flow aerator option in the package and save me the $10 and time it takes to separately purchase this 25 cent part. 2) Come-on guys, the cover plate is used when there are 3 holes - so use one of these extra 2 holes to lock it down. It is extremely difficult, if not outright impossible, to secure the cover plate from rotating using only the center hole - and the gasket extrudes out the center and not the sides if you try to tighten it down. A well designed product is matched with an incompetent cover plate design - at least you didn't make me purchase it separately like the aerator)

Great looking faucet but has a flow problem
Great looking faucet but has a flow problem. The cold water flow is fine but hot water flow is less than half of the cold water flow. It is not even strong enough to hold the spray. Our plumber checked it out and it is the faucet, not the plumbing. The problem now is I don't know if this is a common problem with this model faucet or did I just receive a lemon? For a faucet this expensive I expect it to work. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Functional and easy to install
I installed this faucet myself, replacing a Kohler faucet that had begun leaking and that I was unable to repair. The process only took about an hour and required no special tools, just a couple of adjustable wrenches and a Phillips screwdriver. A little light oil on the threaded pipe that holds the faucet in place made the nut much easier to tighten. The one unusual wrench that was required was supplied with the faucet. The water flow was less than I was used to with the Kohler faucet, so I removed the two small flow restrictors from the faucet head. This change roughly doubled the apparent water flow. I thought this might have caused the faucet to leak when the pause button is depressed, but that's not happening. My sink has three holes in it so that it can accommodate faucets mounted to the left and right of the spout. Since this faucet only needs one hole, Moen provides a plate with a gasket beneath it to cover the extra holes. The plate is a little smaller than I would have liked, making it hard to position so that it covers both of the extra holes in my Kohler stainless steel sink. I think I got it sealed, and in any case the seal isn't critical to faucet operation: it just prevents splashed water from getting under the sink. This inconvenience won't be an issue if you have only one mounting hole in your sink. One idiosyncrasy: the faucet head has a three-position rocker switch. The neutral position gives a normal full stream of water. Rocking the switch up shuts off the flow, but only while you hold the switch in the pause position. Rocking the switch down changes the flow to a spray, and holds until you turn the water off, after which the switch returns to its neutral setting. This means the nozzle is never in the spray position when you first open the faucet: you have to rock the switch down to get a spray. I would have preferred that the nozzle remain in its last setting, either full stream or spray. All in all I am happy with this faucet and recommend it especially for those planning a single-hole installation.

Sleek and functional
Works very well so far (installed a few months ago). Much better than the $100 Patrician tap that I bought at Costco and made do with for a couple of years - regularly tightening the fittings to stop it from leaking).Very smooth and all mechanisms easy to operate - rotation of faucet and use of extending spray head.

Beautiful Kitchen Faucet
LOVE this faucet! Very functional with smooth operation not only with Temperature adjustment, but Pull-down. The latter retracts easily on its' own and the spray option is perfect for rinsing items and sink. The finish is beautiful and matches all the other stainless appliances. A great looking but very functional addition to our kitchen. Highly recommend.

Excellent Faucet
We did a complete kitchen renovation and didn't want to cheap out on the faucet. This unit is terrific. Well made, easy to operate and the pull-down spray works like a charm, not like those of some friends where they stick or drip. very pleased and would recommend this faucet one hundred percent.

Great quailty and great look!
Easy to install and i love the pull down feature. First time i bought a Moen and the quailty is awesome. You do get what you paid for. I'm glad i didn't spend the extra money for spotless finish because the faucet doesn't get that spotty.

Received my product in pristine condition. Great service overall.
Arbor's smooth profile is tailored to perfection. The slight flair of the handle and the curve of the spout make this a transitional look that works with a variety of decorating styles.
