Works like a champ. Bought this because it was half the price of microplanes and I tend to burn through those at about one each year as the area that I use most begins to dull. I will say that the teeth are bent further out than the microplane, so you'll get slightly deeper cutting or a thicker grate, but it's not so thick that it grabs large amounts of pith on normal lemons. I haven't tried it on meyer lemons yet, but they're next on the list. Overall, I will buy again. Quality seems very similar to microplane, but due to the blade differences, doesn't appear to be made by the same plant.

Great little zester here! A big step up for me, as I was using an old box grater. This guy shreds cheese and zests citrus like a hot knife through butter. The only warning I would give a potential buyer is that the back part is very sharp, so be careful, especially when storing it. It comes with a plastic shield, however, I cut myself pretty good taking it out of its scabbard the other day.
