It works
Read this book and certain chapters over a 2 year period, went out and shot under par two days in a row and continue to post scores that I didn't think possible

You should read this
Everyone should read this and not have any preconceived objections. The subject matter is real. The subject has been with us since the beginning of time. Whatever your God is, He controls your power

Excellent read!
I have never played golf however found the gems hidden in this book very useful - I especially like the suggested writing down of 3 nuggets at the end of each chapter! I have read a few of Stephen's books now and found that this one really made a few concepts click for me!

Boring
Very disappointed in this book. The author went on and on about other items and really only offered one or two tips I could relate to golf. Felt he was trying to sell me his other books.

In Golf it is what goes on in your head that counts!
As a "duffer" or avid golfer my coach once looked at my swing and saw nothing wrong with it. He summed it up by saying "there's alot going in in your head." Enter meditation, NLP, etc Putting is where I employ a form of meditation which settles me down and I have improved 2 putts accordingly. On the negative, I found the formatting and font a bit difficult. The content was fine. Overall a good read.

So bad its actually useful...
Some things are so bad, they are good. I actually think everyone should buy this book and keep it in their locker to remind themselves that there are no shortcuts-no magic...only people out there who will promise you anything so you can be the next Tiger.I knew when I bought this book it would be a joke-It is the worst book on golf I have ever read. This "citizen of the world" claims to turn your golf clubs into magic wands.Seriously...right? Lots of good laughs here...but I've seen funnier...The funniest (and worst) thing I saw was actually a video of this bald German wack job professor who was extremely critical of Ben Hogan and anyone who teaches Ben Hogans fundamentals-because you see, Ben didnt know vat he vas doink....only Herr Professor knows the true secrets of golf! SCIENCE! PHYSICS!!BIOLOGY!!!and Herr Provessor vould sell magic shoes (starting at $500) and lessons for some golf swing he invented (that seriously looks like a silly disco move)...and... you guessed it...if you wear the magic shoes and he GUARANTEES tat this little dance move would make you the ...grrrreatest ....gulver ....un....de ....vurld! AXIS POWERS... Bwa ha ha ha(some assembly required, batteries not included, accessories sold seperately, void where prohibited, see actual warranty for conditions and details)Yeah, those Germans in the magic shoes are dominating the tour....My friends, there is no magic. A lot of time, hard work, discipline and dedication, and good coaching stands between you and the best golfer you can be.Dont get sidetracked by the freaks, the circus and the magic show....you dont have time to waste.

Very interesting
Very interesting discussion of left-right brain relationships in golf. Described me to a tee! Looking forward to re-reading it and taking notes.

Great read
A short and enjoyable read full of psychological interest and insight for the golfer who'd like to get his mind into a place where better golf might just result. I found the sections on using the creative right brain, self-hypnosis and Zen particularly useful. (Also see ZEN GOLF by Joseph Parent for a fuller treatment.)This book is not a replacement for proper physical practice and training. There's little point in pondering the complexities of quantum physics if you can't make decent contact with the ball, but for those of us who have been playing for a while and struggling with self-destructive thoughts and doubt this book is very worthwhile. Changing bad habits is extremely difficult but not impossible if you can get your head around new concepts. If you like reading Bob Rotella, Timothy Gallwey or Steven Pressfield you'll like this. Some of it is pretty out there it's true, but if you want to play magic golf you have to believe in the possibilities of magic. As in golf, so in life. The author is very accessible via the contact e-mail given at the end of the book, and likes to hear from his readers. There's also a monthly newsletter full of great tips and advice.Give it a go. Even if it doesn't reduce your handicap you'll have lots to think about while searching for your ball.

Brilliant, a very useful tool
Stephen understands how a golfer mind operates. His techniques work and are easy to follow. One of the top mind coaches in the UK simplifies, and guides you in using mindfulness to forward your game. I will be reading it again this season, the best golf mind coaching book I have read so far!

I found this a complete waste of time
I found this a complete waste of time. I read it as soon as I received it as I was struggling with the mental side of the game. I was expecting some amazing revelation as I expectantly turned each page but all there was were suggestions to try various other techniques such as Zen. I think a lot of the book went over my head as all I seem to have gained is ' stay in the moment' or ' play in the zone' . As a result I am still having problems, even though I have looked at a lot of 'Zen' such as their secret breathing technique, all to no avail.

This has changed my approach to golf
Excellent book that has helped me become a happier golfer. I am hoping that, come the spring, it will also shave some shots off my handicap. The second half contains all the practical, useful stuff, so stay with it!
