Somehow, in our last mover we lost one set of legs for our metal shelving units. After looking for them for a year, I just thought I'd replace the legs so I can actually USE the shelves and get the pile of stuff off of my pantry floor. These fit perfectly and now I don't have to look at the pile on my floor anymore!

These are great. Wanted shorter shelving units that were all the same size. Used my old shelves from other units and its great!. Well made. I'm really happy with the way this came out. Might have to do more.

These are wire shelving posts, the same kind that have been around for decades. They work. One problem, as fellow reviewer Shane Crowe noted, is that the paint is laid so thick on these that the grooves don't securely hold the plastic clips. I am planning to use a small file to bring out the groove a little bit where I want my shelves (I built a rolling coffee table out of these, so the shelves aren't moving).Also the white numbers printed on them are annoying. I get the convenience factor, but I'm not sure it's necessary for the 14" versions. Overall, I like the fact that I didn't have to buy longer ones and cut them down, so in general these will work, assuming I'm able to enlarge the grooves to make the plastic clips fit better.

These wire rack legs worked well with my existing shelving.

if you need something stackable do not buy these. do not buy these. if you take out the little black plug at one end, which is typically the top, it is not threaded. if you unscrew the balancer at the bottom, you cannot take it out entirely either.
