Spring is NOT a good time to buy a drone in the Midwest. But that won't stop my husband.
The media could not be loaded. April was a bad month in Indiana to buy a drone. Too much wind to get it into the air right now. But my husband is chomping at the bit to get it out there, and I'm sure he'll find a time soon. He had one prior, but not with a camera. This one seems to be a much better drone. The remote for this even gives you a place to put your phone to use as a screen after you've downloaded and installed the app that connects with the drone's camera. It seems to have a clear, good resolution camera. The entire thing seems sturdy, and we'll put together. It comes with lots of extra replacement parts as well, and while not a super high dollar drone, seems perfect for play and learning how to operate a drone.

Not for me
I was hoping to show my Grandson how to use a drone. This is just too lightweight and seems to have a mind of it's own. It took off right away and started flying away. We could not control it. I tried many ways to fix it, but just would not do what we wanted it too. Luckily it had an emergency stop button or it would have been gone. I even took it to my drone expert guy and he shut it off right away and said send it back. I am no pro at this, but when something weighs only 1 pound how can you control it, even on a calm day that high up?

Great for the price
Very durable and good quality for the price. The directions are not the best but all in all a solid choice. If the directions were better it would have a 5 star review. Linking to the Wi-Fi can be tricky if you are in range of another Wi-Fi signal that has internet . You need to forget that Wi-Fi to stay linked to the camera. Then reconnect to it after you are done flying.

Good drone for the price.
Hello all, just received my Akaso A31 drone today. Wasn't able to get in any flight time, but wanted to upload my photos of it. Here is just a quick review.Packaging is pretty straightforward, drone looks great, some assembly is required for the landing gear and the blade guards. Remote control is able to hold a Samsung Galaxy smartphone (Note 20+ 5G used w/case , which makes it a bit top heavy.Does include a pair of replacement blades and caps that's a plus. Would like 4 and a spare battery. Over good product.

Good only for training.
The description states that extra batteries can be found someplace? Somewhere ? The answer is NO. I did contact the Chinese company for extra batteries . They were very nice but not able to help unless you get in big bureaucratic procedure to find one of their local vendors who has one. Basically you get your 7min flying and go back home to charge the battery for 2 hrs Towards the end of flying distance 100 m the drone becomes unstable and you have to bring it back. I suspect software problems because of fast voltage loss. Otherwise it is still flying after 8 crashes. Who could ask for anything more?

Great for the money!
So this is my first drone. The step up in speed helps if using indoors(with no breeze) and outdoors in wind. The battery charges quickly and it gives you a few minutes of runtime and videoIn the box there is common spare parts like blades and a screw driver. If I had to complain, I'd say it could use an extra battery, and the buttons could be better labeled. But after a few days of playing with it I'm sure it'll become natural.
