Stereo Radio Wiring Harness Adapter for GM Chevy GMC Buick Pontiac

For just a basic radio install on a car with analog accessory at the radio and no factory amplifier or steering wheel controls, it works just fine. Just match up power, ground, accessory, and the 8 speaker wires. The illumination wire is orange, NOT the orange/white (dimmer), which is usually the corresponding illumination wire on the head unit side.The center pin pulled right out of the antenna adapter, it works but is made quite cheaply. For factory amplified vehicles the remote turn-on (blue/white) wire is pinned wrong. It is in B3 when it should be in A3, which is also the third pin in but on the other row.There are a bunch of extra wires populated that aren't on pins actually used for an aftermarket radio. If they are adding extra wires they should have put them on useful pins such as A1 for serial data or A7 for steering wheel controls. The only useful additional pin is the red/white for accessory feed to the SWC.

Good product and well constructed, well packaged and fit my 2002 Pontiac perfectly.Although... I needed to take the retainers off and rearrange a few of the wires that were not correct.Easy enough.. i still recommend this item
