Kyocera Hydro WAVE C6740 Metro PCS Smartphone

I ordered the Kyocera Hydro Wave and when we received the phone it was locked(by the previous owner!) Whoever sold the phone didn't reset it and when doing our comparison of the phone no one said anything about the Hydro Wave has NO MASTER RESET(it does now because of a system update but you can't update..if you can't get into the phone!).IF YOU FORGET YOUR PASSWORD AND FOR SOME REASON CANNOT INPUT THE EMAIL ATTACHED TO THE LOCK SCREEN..YOU'RE SCREWED! T-Mobile even admitted on their online troubleshooting that "There is NO master reset for the device." On any network! It was a "security" feature so even if stolen the phone CAN'T be used if the person doesn't know your personal lock screen code!

I purchased this phone twice & actually sent it back both times D/T unable to switch my husbands current Metro PCS phone number to this new phone. It wasn't listed in their inventory so a corporate store would have to do it. For those that don't know like we didn't there are NO corporate Metro PCS stores in OKLAHOMA!!!!!

This phone is okay. It's a good value, but it is very slow and the quality of photos circa 2005. Also, somehow there is a problem calling internationally using Google Voice. Somehow it dials directly using the actual phone with all settings set up correctly, but I guess I will call T-Mobile for that.

Fast delivery! Phone was in good condition but the phone freezes up a lot when my daughter is trying to type or when something is loading

The phone i received is unable to read sim cards. So disappointed!UPDATE: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE... I had it for a month and it completely died on me and would not come back on. Total waste of money!!!!!!!

I like that it's water resistant , but didn't like when I play a video ,it automatically stops .Very annoying. Also, speaker quality is poor.
