Philosophy Gym Cast Iron Kettlebell Weights

I will start by saying, I rarely have cause to give a negative review. The photos show exactly how it looked when the FedEX driver delivered it a few minutes ago. I'm surprised by this. The Philosophy Gym stated philosophy indicates something quite different, leading one to believe in them, so all I can say is WOW!Now, this kettlebell will work just fine for what it is designed for and I will say, it is a good design. I will used the hell out of this bell and love it. By-the-way, aside from the chipped and scared paint, the handle has a smooth feel.In a way, the rough aspect of this delivered product fits into my style anyway. I'm a retired Ironworker and I'm used to handling rough steel. I will take some wet sandpaper to it, clean it up and it will be functional as hell. Maybe I'll spray it with some flat black rustoleum, or not.Anyway, I'm just a little disappointed is all. I will not be looking a Philosophy Gym equipment again. Or - if I were them, I would send me a proper product, shipped properly in a box with some newspaper as packing material for protection. That would be followed immediately with a follow-up 5-star review.Have a great day everyone and Stay Strong!

KBs came in great condition. Of course the boxes were banged up, but what do you expect a cardboard box that is carrying a 45lb weight going to look like after being shipped across the country? Handles were a little rough (as is with all my mid-tier KBs), so what I do with all my cast iron KBs is get some coarse sandpaper and smooth out the handle. Two bells for the price of one "premier-brand" KB? Can't beat it.

I so would want to assume this was damaged by FedEx. I was super excited the day I knew this would be delivered but utterly turned off when I saw how ripped the box was.Other than that the weights were good, I had to return them though because they were more heavier than I thought. Fast shipping too.

These arrived in beaten and battered boxes, packed with styrofoam beads. The beads are embedded in the surface of the kettlebells. Some of the black coating chipped off during shipping and it appears these kettlebells are actually concrete, not cast iron. They still have the proper weight and are usable. I just don't appreciate the misinformation as to what I am purchasing.

well made. just enough weight for an isometric stretch without strain.

I love the texture and feel of this kettle bell. It looks nice and has a wide handle. I got two different sets!

Great for lifting...holding doors open...and for bashing heads in(i dont recommend you bash someone) all around great kettlebell bell.👍🏾😂
