Joe RocketWomen's Trixie Boots

I have the Joe Rocket Heartbreaker boots which I absolutely love, but was looking for something a little more discrete that I could put under bootcut jeans and wear for work all day instead of bringing an extra pair of sneakers. These were not it for me. As soon as I put them on, they dug into my shins, and I felt that wearing them under my jeans would be massively uncomfortable. Didn’t have a problem returning, but it was not Prime/free returns on the size I got, which was frustrating but I also knew going in that would likely happen. Well made boot, just wasn’t what I was looking for.

I wear a size 7 1/2 wide and bought the size 8. The fit is good. The only things I do not like about the boots upon trying them on are the how stiff they are and the velcro straps over the zippers.

So, I dropped the motor cycle and could not get my leg out. These boots I know prevented an ankle or tub/fib fracture. I’m 70 and the bike was 400 lbs. great safe boots and very comfortable to walk in. The soles are flat so they didn’t hung up on the pedals. Love the boots!

It is hard to find a reasonably priced weatherproof motrorcyle boot that protects your ankles. I prefer a zipper to a lace up boot and I don't want a high heel. These boots covered all of the important requirements for me. The downside is that the top of the boot hits the shin at the exact wrong spot and slightly inhibits your ability to walk quickly. I am assuming they will stretch out in time. Because there is no heel, there is some slip in the back of the foot. This is a normal fit issue with boots. If there was a slight 1/2 wedge, I think the fit would be better. Overall they are fine. Before, I wore BILT Pro Tourer Waterproof Women's Boots. The heel fit better but took a long time to break in.

Although I returned these boots, the seller's customer service was very helpful in resolving the issue. The issue was a manufacturer's defect. One boot was about a half size larger than the other, but both marked the same size.

Finding the right motorcycle boot is tricky. Right size with or without socks, being too warm for summer weather, water resistant and comfortable can be a lot to ask of one boot. I own several for different riding environments but am still looking for that "all around" boot. So here's the scoop...if you are a woman with large calves then this may be a good boot for you. I have slim legs and calves with petite ankles so there is a large gap in between the leg and the boot leaving lots of room for rain or debris to enter. Kinda defeats the purpose if you're looking for a rain boot. I read other reviews about it running a bit small so as a size 9, I ordered the 10. They were still a bit big even with socks. I suggests trying your regular size if you have narrow feet as I do; if not send them back and try the next size up. Other than that, I'm sure it would've been a great riding boot.

I bought these to have a pair of boots that wouldn't bake my legs in the AZ summer heat. They come up a couple of inches above the ankle, are low (no heel), and function for RIDING (not only good for passengers). Too much of women's motorcycle apparel is design for passenger riding, these boots work great for the lady in control of her own bike. There is a bit of a break-in period. I had to wear tall socks for the first couple weeks riding. Fresh out of the box they gave me blisters on my shins, the tall socks helped with that. Once the shaft is broken in they are great! When these die I will be getting another pair.

I am a size 6.5 in women's and ordered these in "EU 37/ Women's 6" and they fit perfectly!! I've ordered so many different pairs of riding boots and the size isn't right or they're uncomfortable, but these are exceptional! Highly recommend and am glad I finally stumbled upon them.The ankle protection is sturdy, but not too hindering.If you're thinking about ordering these, DO IT!

Size down for sure! I normally wear an 8 and after a few tries I have a 7 but also put in insoles. I have wide fee and calf’s and they fit well for that. These are strictly for riding, if you are planning to get off the bike and walk around I’d have another pair of shoes along.

Nice looking boot, but would not zip all the way up for me. Not made for larger legs....too bad :-(
