Anyone who gives this less than 5 stars need a visit from the fun police!! We have had HOURS of fun with this! Once you get the momentum going trying to avoid being soaked! Not just for kids, but adults also! Those complaining it hurts knuckles and fingers, id say they aren’t holding the handles correctly! There is NO way the ball can hit them! The balloons they come with aren’t great, but we bought a load of bunch’o’balloons at the same time, and have hundreds ready! It’s honestly the best thing I have purchased for my daughter … and it’s that much fun, we’ve even been out in the rain playing it! Don’t listen to the moany myrtles, buy it!

We had a something like this in gym class in the 70's, but it was longer, heavier, and didn't involve water balloons. Even though it's less substantial, this is long enough to be fun, and sliding the "ball" back and forth across the ropes is enjoyable enough, though it needs the added weight of the water balloon to move properly.The water balloon aspect is the fun begins. Like a water balloon toss, somebody's going to get wet, and it's only a matter of time until you find out who it's going to be.The only real issue that we have with this is that the "ball", which screws together (2 halves) with a 1/8th or so turn, is too flexible and comes open too easily. Sometimes, the water balloon breaks while inside the ball, splattering water at a player. Other times, the ball falls open and dumps the water balloon on the ground. It would be nice if the ball held together, either with a stiffer ball or a more secure locking mechanism.We eventually came up with new rules for a loose balloon. Sometimes, we agree to put it back together and start over. Sometimes, we agree that we can pick it up and throw it at each other. Another option is change to a game of water balloon toss if the balloon comes loose. The important thing is to turn it into something fun instead of a disappointment.
