Fit perfectly into my Lenovo Y40-80 Laptop. Charges and lasts as long as it should.My old battery sucked and was causing issues, replacing the battery did NOT fix the common "Screen Flicker" that the Y series laptops get. My workaround included getting this battery, switching to Linux, and using a battery saving app which worked 100% better than the stock Lenovo one. Unfortunately, it only reduced the issue until my battery is at <20% which admittedly is better than the previous instant non-stop flickering I'd get the second I unplugged it. Just an FYI for people who have that issue that were told this would fix it by Lenovo (as I was).However, this battery has fared me well so far and was very simple to install. Immediate improvement on how long my laptop lasts unplugged.

The battery appears to be the same size as the original but when i tried to install it it took some extra effort to get the battery to slide into the original tabs in the laptop. I had to push down a little harder than i would have liked to to get the battery into the slides.I didn't take off any stars because it works and does actually go in. The battery does run the laptop for about 2 to 3 hours depending on what i am doing with it. This replaces the original battery which was down to about 15 minutes.

Overall a good battery but it does have some quirks that need to be ironed out. For starters, the plastic pieces on the side of the battery to keep it in place were slightly too large so i had quite a bit of trouble getting it to slide into place. The connector was also a smidge too large causing it to have an excessively snug fit. That being said the battery works as advertised and everything did fit in place, albeit with some effort.

This battery failed after about 7 months. The ad says it has a 12-month warranty, but Amazon says it's 30 days and the seller has not responded to contact attempts.

The battery from Lenovo took a dump and I was trying to find a replacement. This one was one of the cheapest available and had all the correct specs. Battery life is at or even a little bit better than the Lenovo one. I would highly recommend this battery to any one needing a replacement for either a dead or nearly dead battery. The seller shipped this battery in a well padded box and quickly to boot. Note: I used this in a Lenovo Y40-80.

The battery which came with Lenonvo laptop was almost dead. Got this replacement battery. It works perfect for my laptop without any issues. With full charge, the battery comes for 3 to 4 hours. The battery was shipped in a well wrapped box. It has been 10 months,still works without any issues.
