Yes, I wear mine under the helmet. Besides keeping sweat out of your eyes, it also keeps the sun off my head( you still have those slots in the helmet that the sun can get through).

is this snug enough to wear under a helmet

Yes, I wear it underneath my Bell bicycling helmet. Very comfortable and the rear ties work well to secure it with the right amount of tightness. I own two of these.

Très bien pour les hommes qui doivent porter un casque et qui transpire. Mon mari l'a user et ne s'en passe plus ça évite la sueur dans les yeux car il y a une petite bande en caoutchouc pour arrêter la sueur d'aller plus bas.
