Handy second vehicle mount
This is identical to the mount that came with our Garmin Nuvi. Although the suction cup will eventually loosen and fall off (at the worse time), I secured it to the windshield with some clear silicone glue. We use our GPS in two different vehicles, so this one was purchased to go into the second vehicle. Securing it to the windshield as low as possible and centered provides good visibility of the road and eliminates the need to glance away to look at the GPS. It also discourages "messing" with it while driving since it is beyond the reach of the driver. The ball and socket on the mount allows for positioning for best viewing.Having used maps for the vast majority of my driving, I find the GPS handy in that it gives me a preview of coming direction changes and indicates approximate ETA. This mount makes that easy.

Suction holds in place and works fine, to get it fit into the cradle just press hard for it to snap into place.
Worked as it should, you just have to really press hard to snap ball into place correctly into cradle/bracket. Saved me from having to constantly look down by the cup holders where my GPS used to be since I lost the original suction cup. It even actually is better at suction and staying in place than the original was.

Replacement part for Garmin GPS
This product is identical to the one which came with our Garmin GPS and fits the device without problems. Pleased with purchase and would recommend.

Better than the original.
Bought this because the original one that came with my Garmin Nuvi would not say stuck tot the windshield..it would fall off on the dashboard after a while.This one holds the GPS perfectly, and stays attached to the windshield... no more failing suction cup falling off!Can't say anymore, it works perfectly, and does the job with no problems.

I got a bad suction cup
I got a bad suction cup. Doesn't stick to anything, even though it was properly shipped and covered. Had to go get another suction cup. Was a bit of a hassle, but the mount fits the listed GPS device. If it was functional out of the box, would've given it a 5 Star rating.
