MET-Rx Metamyosyn Protein Plus Whey Isolate and Casein Protein Powder, Chocolate, 2 Lb White

I loved this particular brand of Protein Powder right from the start - MET-RX Protein Plus - from the first time I tried it, and I still do! I use both the vanilla AND the chocolate, and then I mix them together. I have become very dependent on it, and I've been using it for several years. And what I LOVE about it is that it CAN be mixed to a thick consistency, comparable to pudding. I have it for breakfast everyday, along with some almonds, walnut-pieces, pistachios, and cashew-pieces on the side. I take my time, and totally savor it! Personally, I love the taste - of course, taste is subjective. All this having been said, this product is currently unavailable, to my absolute dismay! I plan on trying to contact the manufacturer, and sort of beg them to make it available again! The price seems very high, but not if you compare it to going out for breakfast every day, and how much THAT would cost! So the MET-Rx company will be hearing from me soon, and if others are doing that too, maybe that would persuade them - I hope!!

Tastes great! It’s a pretty basic protein powder but I’m happy with it as an alternative to some of the more expensive brands. I like to have a scoop in my oatmeal in the morning. I’ve also used it post work out. It didn’t affect my digestive system negatively BUT that isn’t an issue I’ve had before with any protein powder so that may not tell you too much.

Can't believe it went up $20 recently. The 5 pound jar is only $20 more now so I think they are trying to push that. The taste kind of sucks but there is less fat and seems like a better product for it's purpose. Looking for alternatives now that the 2 pound is so much more before committing to buying the 5 pound jar.

Live this product. The taste is so important for things like this...and it's perfect. Just what one needs after a good workout. Great value great price... And I don't get any cramps or muscle soreness after taking this after my workout.

LOVE this protein powder. I bought my first round at Trader Joe's, for a lot more, then found better deal here on good old Amazon!!! Now I have hunted and tasted and returned MANY the last year and this one wins my taste buds and fills my belly up. What I love...the taste! It's rick chocolate but can water it down or you can add some almond milk, yogurt, blueberries and strawberries = a delicious healthy treat. Won't go wothout this, even have my dad and hubby hooked :))

I want to start off by saying that I’m sure the product itself works fine it’s a long absorption protein my only problem with the product is that simply put it’s the worst tasting protein I’ve ever had by far. Its just not good with milk water peanut butter bananas or anything else

Tastes great, and the price per pound is outstanding for a under 5lbs. Not the most macro friendly protein powder (cholesterol, g of protein/calories), but for the price my all time fave. Use a blender, or actually use some elbow grease when using a shaker cup. It really does blend and taste great.

I used to purchase ONLY this powder. It was the only one that was versatile enough to make delicious shakes, puddings, and cakes. The consistency was extremely versatile. Plus, this powder was very affordable. Sadly this is no longer the case. I will have to switch brands, which stinks, as my son has been on the protein shake meal supplement train for the past year or so. With as quickly as our family goes through a tub I can no longer justify the 100 percent mark up from a year ago.I understand inflation, but this powder is now the same price of better quality brands my gym sells…and I know my gym makes a “convenience” profit so folks can buy right then and there.Anyway, I hate that i now have to do the deep dive into other brands now as MetRx has been good to me for years but I cannot justify the huge mark up.
