Not the best for iPhone 13 Pro
I’ve been using Scosche’s Magic Mounts for at least 4 years and have always loved their products. This is my first time buying their Wireless Car Charger. Unfortunately and though it advertises as fitting the iPhone 13 Pro, it does not. The camera area is too large for the Scosche charger to properly fit in the way it needs to in order to charge. It will only connect to a charge if the charging pad is horizontal and the iPhone vertical. (So effectively a + cross configuration.) This means it leaves very little room for any of the metal plate to attach on to the magnet. Considering the price it’s disappointing that it’s taken 2 hours of fiddling time[with/without case, partial case, plates placement] with lots of confusion and little success. I will place the plates as best as possible for work tonight (Overnight Uber driver) but if it doesn’t work well or latch on well to where I have to put the plates then I will return it. May work for the Pro Max as there is more overall surface area.

Excellent product
Installs easily and works fine. The reason for the 1-star for "Suction Power" is because let's face it. Very few cars have places on the dash that a suction cup will stick to and I'm not willing to apply it to the windshield and obstruct the driver's vision. Otherwise, the suction cup is very strong and I am using it on my desk as a phone holder. One complaint is that the mounting ball is not angled like my previous Schoche phone holder. This makes it difficult to mount not using the suction bracket. However, I was able to make it work with the previous peel and stick mount. The only other minor issue, and it's to be expected, is that the magnet mount with the Qui charger is heavy. This was remedied by using Scotch heavy-duty Double-sided adhesive pads. Otherwise, an excellent product and I'm purchasing a second one for my wife.

Great for Delivery Drivers!
I was fed up with having to plug into a cable every time I got into my work van just to keep my device charged. I'm a delivery driver and every second counts. Being able to pull and go was a plus, but being able to charge at the same time without messing with cords or buttons, even better. While it doesn't charge the device fast enough on stop-heavy routes, it does maintain the charge and slow it down from draining the battery before I am able to finish my route. If you work as an Amazon DSP, I highly recommend you invest money into this instead of using what your company provides you with.Only problem I have had is that the piece of plastic between the ball joint and the suction cup base tends to break easily with heavy usage. Luckily, I can easily replace it with a similar SCOSCHE branded base. However, it would be nice to see that part reinforced with a thin metal core inside the plastic to increase durability.

Glad I finally bought this
I've tried many different phone mounts and magnetic is by far the best type out there. I had been looking for a wireless magnetic mount for months so I could finally take advantage of Qi charging. It's tricky, because the standard metal plates can't be used. I've seen ring magnets that surround the coils, and this unit uses plates above and below. Read lots of reviews of mounts and decided to pull the trigger on this one. It works great and I love not needing to plug in my phone anymore. The main sticking point is that the metal plates need to go on the outside of the case. It's not ideal, but ultimately I decided that I valued the convenience of wireless charging more than a perfectly smooth back to the case, and I still feel this way after using it for a month. Placing the plates inside a case makes it not strong enough to hold.Unexpected perk of wireless charging? No longer needing to account for a charging cable under my phone and it's added length, more positions in my car became usable. I have this mounted to my dashboard, which was previously impossible.I do not have issues with charge rate while using navigation. I suspect those that do have not placed their phone in the right position (and those examples actually come from other mounts).

Way more inconvenient than just plugging a cable into your phone.
Combining a magnetic mount with wireless charging should be the ultimate convenience. Slap your phone on the mount and go.The challenge with this device is that the optimal placement for wireless phone charging only allows for a deviation of 1 or 2 millimeters. I find myself constantly fidgeting the phone a millimeter to the left or the right in order to get the charging to activate. It’s a lot less effort to just plug my phone in than use this thing.
