how do you make it stick? I'm replacing the fabric on the sunroof

Make sure the existing fabric is totally removed. Use a semi soft brush. Afterwards use auto fabric interior glue (spay can). Apply 2 to 3 coats before putting down fabric. Allow 5 minutes between coats for glue to become tacky, otherwise the glue will bleed thru the fabric. Use steam from iron to remove wrinkles in fabric before starting this process.

My seats are leather but the backs of the 2nd and 3rd row are fabric Can I use this to change them as they are torn and worn out?

No, I wouldn’t advise using this as a seat fabric. It’s strictly a headliner material. It’s thin and has the equally thin padding on the back. I would look for a thicker velour type fabric to reupholster it with.

How long does the color last under the sun?

Like any fabric left in direct sunlight, I would say it wont last for a very long time. This is headliner fabric that matches original types of headliners. If it is used on the top of the inside of a car, truck, or van, I would say you will get many years out of it.
