Worked like a charm on my Mercedes Benz C250
Did the job it was made to do, was able to do the whole timing set while the cams were held in place.

These will not lock camshafts to prevent the jumping of timing. Beware
These will work for just holding the camshafts down. They do not stop the camshafts from spinning and jumping timing. They will certainly not lock the cams to the point of being able to undo or torque the camshaft actuator (cam phaser) bolt. If you will use these tools, mark your camshafts everywhere so you can retime the engine if the engine jumps timing. To loosen the camshaft center bolt, hold the engine from the crankshaft bolt. Once again, BEWARE! Do not rely on this tool to lock your camshafts in time.

Tool is made of plastic. We had to take it apart and scrape the excess plastic from the screws in order to tighten it enough to use it. It did work with some modifications.
