These are high-quality hex wrenches, they stand up to breaking loose rusted bolts no problem. The steel is much harder/stiffer than cheaper wrenches, so they transmit torque better, and don't strip out as easily. Having harder steel does mean the ball can snap off if you put a breaker bar on it, but you really shouldn't use the ball end for that anyway... I've ordered several sets of these, not because they break, but because they keep getting "borrowed" since they are so much better than the big box store brands.

Can't speak to durability because I haven't managed to ruin one yet, but they snug into Allen recesses perfectly (meaning no slop but they come out easily). The plastic case is a little dopey in that larger sizes have to be removed or rotated out of the way before smaller sizes can be extracted, but that's the price for being compact. On the bench, simply rotate the 6 small keys 90° on their long axis, and reverse the 3 large keys so they're inserted from the bottom (as well as rotated 90°). Now any key can be extracted without messing with the others. They'll be loose in their holsters because the grip flat is designed for the shipping configuration shown, but that's good. You can always put them back in that configuration if they need to travel somewhere. Another nice option is a magnetic knife bar. These will stick fairly well, though sooner or later you'll knock some off. Best is a bolted-down DIY stand drilled with precise, deep holes far enough apart that they don't grab each other when you grab them.

These are the least expensive hex keys I have found that can stand up to my daily use for my job and are accurately machined. I have tried the expensive German-made counterparts and found that the hex keys themselves are fundamentally the same while the bells and whistles in the holders to get around turning the neighboring keys out of the way every time you want to remove one are much cooler in theory than in practice as they don't hold together as well in my tool-bag and I often end up wasting more time digging through my bag to find the keys that fell out than I would have spent turning the keys out of the way. The simple holder is the way to go for keeping the keys together if you are carrying them around in a bag as opposed to leaving them in a drawr or on a bench all the time

These are professional quality and simple. I have ordered several sets and they are always awesome. High quality steel, fair price.

Hex wrenches are great. High quality as expected of Bondhus . But amazing value for money compared to other Allen key sets for the same price.
