the product is good but dont buy more than one product they will rip u off then make you feel like your the one trying to rip them off i lost big time from them over the season and now i regret purchasing more than one product from them but hey its life ...

The installation was easy with the included wiring package. The amp seems to be well made, and the connections and controls are thoughtful and very flexible- you should be able to connect up just about any head unit/speakers you have. Do pay attention to the ohms ratings of your speakers - power amps do require a certain amount of resistance (ohms) to properly function. Typically, 2 or 4 ohms for most car amps, I think. The instruction manual is quite complete and helped me get the system set up right. I'm still tuning the system some but so far so good. I'll know more about the quality after it's in use for a while but if you are looking for an amp that has a decent amount of clean power, and flexible connections and controls, you should consider the Rockville very seriously.

Was able to use for 3 days before it stopped working. No complaints on the sound quality while it did work. By the time it was installed and used, warranty was out. Once I took the bottom plate off, the damage was immediately visible. I’ve moved onto a different brand with more proven durability. I don’t recommend this amp.

So, in the instructions, you are given the warning, the the product can run hot. Oh yeah does it run hot. To keep it running, during summer months of 70 - 80 degree temps outside, I have to place an ice pack on it. Otherwise, at half full radio volume, it cuts out in about 10 min. Probably better for Windows down in fall winter than spring summer. At least all the connections are done for when I upgrade.

Not sure if mine was defective but mine i had running 2. Rockville10" shallow after 15 min play time it can litterly melt your skin *trust me i found out the hard way* even at a 10 min run it was to hot to try n touch . but it does sound great and look good seams to be built top notch id recomend it to anyone needing a good amp just make sure you test it and watch the heat at frist save ur car not your ashes

Night and day difference in my kicker csc68 speakers! Bass is enough to not need a sub for lighter listeners and with sub and bass turned down on speakers highs are i credibly clear! I have a tiny humming sound when all sound is off but i have no filters installed and it goes away if master volume on amp is turned down to 50%ish. Overall awesome exactly what i was looking for to upgrade my speakers! Hopefully it lasts a while!

This is perfect for my Jeep! Installed it to 4 Kicker CS65s, and the Rockville 6.5 sub. Jeep is kicking now! Haven't had any issues with it getting hot as others have said. I installed it under passenger seat. It's just on carpet for now. I will make some little legs for her to get some air and keep cool. This is a nice amp and for the price. I feel it does better than most of higher dollar amount !

Sounds good so far, really needed the extra wattage for the salon of my boat. Have it hooked up to bookshelf speakers and doing the job. Had to order a fan as it does run hot.
