Fab book
I am a big TP fan and this did not disappoint, took me to an age long gone of my youth and the 70,s, music, angst and growing up

Matthew MacFadyen's voice is wonderful.
Matthew MacFadyen could read the telephone book to me and I would be happy. The story line was fine. I also remember the day that Elvis died.

Disappointing
I LOVE Tony Parsons' novels but I just don't like his short story writing so much, which surprises me really. Sorry Tony

An enjoyable and easy read!
Dont take this book too seriously! Nothing much happens in this book but that is the point! It's about group of characters and you getting to know them. I don't always finish books but this one was a nice easy and enjoyable read. It's based in the seventies which was pretty different to today. The news in filled with a famous death yet life goes on for our three main characters. You'll end up feeling you personally know these people by the time you finish the book.I read it and passed it on to my sister who also loved it.We both agree that we now miss Ray, Leon and Terry.Author, Tony Parson's writes effortlessly and for that it makes reading it a simple enjoyable experience.

Wonderful
5 stars for taking me on a trip down memory lane. Tony Parsons at his very best and all those music references! I wonder if the NME was really like this....
