Great SUP for a beginner! Very durable and portable. You will want an electric air pump.

It's basic and it works
After taking the Pathfinder out on its maiden voyage, I must give it a passing grade. Disclaimer, this is only my 2nd time on a Paddle board. So as for stability goes, I’m not sure if my quivering legs made me feel wobbly or if it was the board, but after an hour something clicked because it wasn’t as bad. Initial set up was a pain in the you know what. The stupid “small ladder-shaped protector inside the fin box” put up a valiant fight and blood was spilled in the removal process, but the secret is soaking it in hot water. No seriously, the stupid ladder would not come out no matter what I did. The valve wrench is a waste of plastic and an utter useless tool in this case. A plastic flat tipped spear with a hammer edge to pound against would be more useful. Failing this change, soak your SUP ladder down in hot water for 10 minutesish and it will slide right out. I also may just be a complete idiot, but an arrow telling you which direction the fin goes in would be really helpful. The carrying bag will hold everything but a PFD and the oversized air pump. The bag can be carried like a duffle, or on your shoulders hiking style. The pressure gage does work, but not to state the obvious, it has to feel PRESURE to GAGE what’s in the SUP. Yes, it took me a minute to figure this out. Vilano is right, the PSI wont measure until the SUP is about half full. It will take several dozen pumped for you to hit 15 PSI (definitely recommend getting as close as possible). When you are close to 15 PSE you will know because there is a lot of resistance to the pump. Also, maybe its just my height (5’10”) but its more comfortable to sit down and inflate then stand up (your back will thank you). I will also say its really nice that the paddle comes with measurements to tell you what height it’s at. It would be MORE useful if they also included a chart in the manual telling you what size paddle you need. Only other downside is that the paddle will shorten while it’s in use, I still have to see if there is a way to tighten the screws to stop this. The board has been inflated for a little over 16 hours and has held air! I do have to give their customer support a shout out. Pretty responsive, over all helpful in their explanations and they do try to help. Over all this is a decent board that is good for the causal paddle boarder or for someone who is learning.

love it
I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review and my opinions are my own.I was skeptical of this purchase, but it was cheap enough that I thought it was worth the risk. I took it out on my first weekend available. It had it out of the box and blown up to 15psi within 10 minutes. The pump was leaking around the hose but I was still able to pump it up. I will have to try that again, or contact the company. There's no washer so it may just be that way. The pump and hose also got very very hot. Don't touch either after you pump it up! Otherwise, it pumped up easily, and the board was surprisingly firm!I took it out into the water and I knelt on it for the first 15+ minutes and then tried standing. I was ok but felt a little unsteady, but the board held up. Whenever boats would come by, I would get more unsteady. I took it over into a cove where the water was quiet, and it worked even better over there, and I got really comfortable. After another hour, I decided to come back, but the winds had picked up and I couldn't paddle faster than the waves and wind coming the other direction. So it was good that I did not stray too far from walking distance! BUT, I went back into the cover, went closer to shore, and I was able to get back if I stayed closer to the shore. So that bit was a little scary. I felt really comfortable on the way back, and even boat's waves didn't stir me up too much, and I didn't have to point the board towards the waves at that point either. I never fell in, although I came close a couple of times when the boat's waves for pretty rough.Deflating the boat, a little strand came out of the hole, and there was a lot of glue smell. Hopefully the glue isn't coming undone. Make sure you deflate this boat properly and release the pressure first, or it would be a very high pressure to be undoing the cap. The board folded back up well, and I was able to wash it off at home before putting it in the basement in its bag. No problem at all with any of this.I'm excited with where I can take this. They give you a backpack and you can carry it for a while, although it might be a bit bulky. You could even take it on a plane if you wanted. Using the board is sort of like using a Bosu ball. It's a great workout and should improve your stability muscles. The board itself is firm, and the cushion they put on top of it, soft. I didn't do too much yoga but I did some, and it seems fine for yoga. The straps in the front were able to hold my bottles fine. The board doesn't move very fast, but I don't have much experience to compare to. I think it doesn't sit on stop of the water as much as the hard board I used once, but it doesn't sit in the water too much. It's still a great board and it's very portable. I'm excited to use it again.

Good product, arm workout
Takes forever to pump up, but that will be the case for any board that doesn’t come with an electric pump. Product has been great so far. Taken it to a couple local lakes and State Parks. Happy with my purchase.

Seems like good quality, not very stiff
After a couple weeks' use in salt water this seems like a pretty good SUP for the price, comes with everything. We had no probs with valves or inflation/deflation, and it has plenty of flotation for lighter peeps, and it's great for kids. I'm close to 200lbs and can sit on it no problem, but standing gets very unstable and water comes over the deck where my feet are. I have no experience with other inflatable SUPs but this one is not very stiff when you stand up, thereby making it even more unstable. That said, we bought a $20 kayak paddle at Walmart and my daughter has a ball paddling around either crosslegged or kneeling. For the price it's worth it IMO.

but everything else seems to be fantastic. Won't be able to try it until it ...
The board didn't come with the repair kit, but everything else seems to be fantastic. Won't be able to try it until it warms up, but I did inflate it for a few days, and it seems to hold it's air.As of May 5, 2017, I have used my board 3 times, and LOVE it! Very important to keep the recommended psi, as it improves the stability of the board. Love the portability of it! :) Very impressed with my purchase, thank you!

Great choice!
Board seems great, definitely a bit wobbly but to be expected with any inflatable! Haven't got to use it a tone but am taking it to New Zealand soon and will get lots of use out of it then! Also in the manual it comes with it says it should have a repair kit and patches but I didn't get any patches unfortunately! Otherwise quite happy with it!

It is a good inflatable paddle board
It is a good inflatable paddle board. It does flex a bit compared to my other inflatable board which is a more expensive. This board is crazy light to carry compared to my other board though. The board tracks well and paddles super fast. So far so good.Cheers

So far so good. Bought it last year but couldnt use it because season had ended. I put it together a few weeks ago and have used it several times. No issues whatsoever. Inflating was easy, took less than 10 minutes. Seems very sturdy.
