This book is actually a comic book that looks like a thin book
This book is actually a comic book that looks like a thin book. I really like the comic book presentation versus the novel format. I don't have time to read a lengthy novel. When I noticed that the Helsinki story was available in paper back form, I originally thought it was a novel. Then I decided to pass it up because as I mention above, I don't have time for a lengthy novel. I was watching the extra behind the scenes videos on the latest Orphan Black DVD set, when some of the support folks mention this book. One of them said, "Oh, Graeme released a comic book about Helsink". When I learned that Ophan Black: Helsinki was a comic, I made sure I bought a copy. They use very good quailty paper for the book. It is the wax coated paper and not the typical comic book paper. The paper is better than magazine paper, it is kind of thick paper. I was very pleased with the paper choice that was made for Orphan Black: Helsinki. I have only read a couple pages and can't comment about the story. Since it was written by Graeme, I know that it will be good.

Not what I expected
I was hoping for some clarification in the story line, but this confused me. I love Orphan Black so still worth five stars. I will get it figured out!

Fills in the blanks
This is great story to fill in a number of story line that has thus far been skimmed over in the show. I highly recommend it for all Orphan Black fans.

A must read for fans of Orphan Black!
Awesome comic for lovers of Orphan Black. A must read! The price for the kindle book is perfect too-$1.99 for all five of the Helsinki comics with this purchase as opposed to $1.99 for each of the five. Sometimes it pays to be patient and wait till all of a series are out!

Great adaptation
Felt like reading an episode of the show. Just missed the power that the best actress on any TV show ever, Tatiana Maslany, brings to the actual "Orphan Black" program.

this graphic novel was GREAT (and heartbreaking)
As someone who has watched the show ORPHAN BLACK and was insanely curious about the Helsinki situation, this graphic novel was GREAT (and heartbreaking). Beautifully illustrated, solid writing. Orphan Black fans, you will not be disappointed - this expands the Clone Club world and explains plenty.

Not impressed
This thing won't let me get off of here to my next book without rating this one. Forced into a rating.

Cool Backstory Deepens Orphan Black!
One of the more intriguing, yet never addressed in the show, aspects of Orphan Black is the use of the Helsinki protocol as a harbinger of death and destruction for the Leda clones. Orphan Black: Helsinki details the events that led to the protocol and introduce a whole new set of clones - including fourth season regular, MK.Well written and beautifully illustrated, Orphan Black: Helsinki is as good as the best episodes/arcs from the TV series. You don't need to read it to understand what's going on in the series, but it gives some extremely interesting backstory and depth to MK in particular.

Muy interesante
Quería leerlo porque hacen referencia de ese caso en la serie de televisión. En el libro cuentan todo lo que no contaron en la serie y es bastante interesante. Es sencillo de leer aunque no tengas mucho nivel de inglés.
