I highly recommend this light to anyone who is wanting to take there grow to the next level from a 2x2 or 2x4 to a 4x4 grow tent without really breaking the bank. And what I found very useful was the way the lights are constructed of 2 separate heat sink aluminum panels that are held together by a few brackets . At first I was concerned because being used to other quantum boards made of one piece it made me worry about whether or not I bought a cheap patch job light 😅. But upon closer inspection I realized that wasn't really the case at all as soon as I realized the panels were actually heat sinks instead of just thick mill aluminum like others I've seen (with an attractive black anodized finish. In fact I have used the 2 piece design to my advantage since my flower space is 4x5 instead of a 4x4 I detached the brackets giving me two light panels comparable to the maxsisun pb2000 and spaced them about a foot or so apart. The light intensity is very impressive for a light in this price range. I'll compare prices with a couple other popular lights I own to give you an idea of the bargain. First off the maxsisun pb2000 priced at 199.99 and has a flowering foot print of 3.5 x 3 I believe. The second is the ever famous growers choice roi-200 priced at about 325.99 with a.footprint of 2x4 veg and flower. And then there is this light priced at 225 with a flowering area of 4x4 which technically can be slightly expanded. This light also features 2 EASY to reach dimmer knobs that control each panel independently . All around good buy for someone on a budget that still wants to increase their yields .

Great so far. Will update if any mishaps similar to the boards off Alibaba. A little warmer than my viparspectra p series. I do not have any meters to confirm any of the advertised specs.It's pretty much 2 x 240w boards latched together. As the other reviewer said, you can unlatch (2 screws watch latch, 3 latches) and seperate for better coverage. You do have to get creative on hanging one of them as well.The hanging kit will do, but will need more if you seperate them.

Mind didn't come with a manual. So if I wanted to replace the board I would have to look on line. And loved the driver with knob but to get that brand you would have to order a whole new unit. Really?

Construction looks good and solid with the heatsink. all the screws and nuts were tight. comes ready to go just plug in. It does have a dimmer switch built in which is really nice. haven't ran a par test but with the eye it looks to be competitive with all the other 4 panel 480w quantum boards out there, like kingbrite from China.

I decided to give this light a try, not many reviews but all were good. Got the product 24 sept. By early November one of the panels was off. I tried a different light on the same power chord and it worked. I contacted the seller and they said they would send a driver, perhaps to fix the issue. I have been waiting almost 3 weeks.Also, the dimmer. Once you reach 50%, the light stops brightening, as if that’s its limit (100%)Will update if i ever get the driver.Aside from the driver issue, the lights have made a difference.UPDATEWaited for about a month before the driver arrived. But surprise, I received 2 sets of lights, with drivers. After testing neither worked. My problem was not fixed and now I have three extra useless lights.Will try contacting manufacturer.
