Diane Wave Brush, Reinforced Soft Boar Bristles

Too stiff, had to return it. I ordered #9007 advertised as SOFT instead got a very stiff brush with brownish red wood labeled FIRM? I called for replacement but even the replacement is too stiff but colour as advertised - black and labeled FIRM.

The brush I got was navy blue, not black like the pictures. But it's fine, not really a problem. I was initially surprised by how stiff and scratchy the bristles were but it's quite effective at detangling hair. It's cheap and does the job, I'm happy.EDIT: It's been a couple of months now and I haven't had any problems with shedding. And bonus: my cat enjoys it too.

I love the way it feels on my scalp and my hair seems to be shinier. My hair is very short right now as it's finally growing back in after chemotherapy treatment but I think the brush will work on any length of hair.

Looks a little different than the picture (mine is red). Its quite nice. The stiff plastic bristles are good at getting through my hair and the boar bristles do a good job of smoothing and moving the natural oils through my hair.

The bristle were way too coarse and I was not happy that the brush I received was red when the photo clearly depicts a black color brush.
