If Pele was a mermaid her tears would be like this. These red hot lava mermaid's tears measure 7/8 inch and are drilled and wrapped with sterling silver wire and hung on sterling ear wires. This sea glass is amazing. It's bubbly and pitted, looks as if it has been melted. I was a bit worried about it being too delicate but it easily stood up to my drilling and wrapping. I'm not sure I really want to part with them = )
