In ancient Hebrew the word for man and the word for woman, when joined, had the word for God in the middle. If you take God out of the center of this unity, it leaves the word for fire. The message was that if God is not the center of a marriage there will be destruction, but if He is present there will be power.This book helps couples keep God as the center and clearly illustrates the exponential power that is present when 2 or more join in prayer. There is sound biblical teaching with practical implementation. The "question and discussion" piece at the beginning of the book after each section is particularly helpful. This book continues to guide you and your spouse naturally through each step of praying together. The chapter on specific prayers and using scriptures was especially helpful for is.This book has not only brought my wife and I closer to each case other, but helped each of us deepen our individual prayer life as well. It allowed us to see our prayer time together in unity as a true pillar to building strong relationships with our Father.I strongly recommend this book to anyone wanting a richer and more rewarding relationship with our Father. If you have the chance to read this book together as a couple, it will transform your world and bring glory to Him!

God is love.I can see where the Heavenly Father would have a special love and attentiveness towards a couple who pray. It is in this special type of circumstance where you often have the blessing of a new life coming into the world. What a blessing and awesome responsibility, raising a child. No doubt that praying for Gods continued; guidance, love, caring and help would be of great value. Our heavenly father who's love is immeasurable would in his love and mercy want to see us live a good, happy Christian life, as we would want the same for our children. So yes I can see where a family praying together can be a very special thing in Gods eye since most if not all of the world's religion are directly involved in the ceremony and blessing of the union between a man and a woman. The future of humanity, (children) of great concern to society at large and in particular to the child's parents is best served when there is care and guidance from our Heavenly Father.

This was one of those books that really bring meaning to your life. Not just your life but the whole family. If you need spiritual guidance, in the form of prayer, and the best way to go about it with biblical citations, this is the book for you and your family to read. This book is spiritual, powerful, and such a blessing! The idea it is based on has moved me deeply to constantly seek special moments of prayer with my husband. What a huge blessing this has been, both now, and prophetically in the future and we begin to reap the rewards of whAt we are sewing. This was simple and easy to read, and breaks down all the information in a way where the Word, and the blessings therein don't seem hard to swallow or to do.

I would recommend this book to anyone whether single or married because its' powerful message and earnest encouragement can benefit each and everyone of us. The subject, 'When Two Pray,' is thoroughly covered, never wavering from Holy Scripture. That meant the most to me. It is both powerful and comforting to read.
