Heavy Duty!! Great pricing!!!
I put this on my 6x14 trailer gate and it works awesome! Very heavy duty latch!! Makes locking my gate quick and efficient! No more lost pins!! I will purchase this again when I build another trailer.

Weldable and heavy duty latches
Prefect for an adjustable fork stabilizer bar I made for the tractor.Welded these puppies on and drilled out the holes for the perfect fit.Not worried about loosing a pin or bolt.These are permanent and resistant to damage from anything I put against the forks.

This is really excellent. Much heavier duty than it looks in the picture.
I really like this. I was pleasantly surprised at how much heavier duty this is than looks in the picture. It also has a little groove to twist and hold the pin open if you want. The metal seems very thick so welding it on shouldn't be a problem for me. I just ordered my second one. For $7.67 it's a great value in my opinion.

Worked great, heavy-duty
I bought 4 of these for a project. One was assembled backwards as can be seen by the retaining notch on the wrong side of spring tension. Also the pin is 16mm not 5/8 " . Had to go back and re-drill my holes larger. They worked great despite these issues and would buy again.

Heavy duty.....
I built a tailgate for my 16' utility trailer out of 14 gauge 1-1/2" square tubing. It's a 6' x 6' tailgate weighing approximately 180 to 200 lbs. I did install the GATOR brand tailgate assist springs for support in raising and lowering the gate, but I needed these spring latches to lock it shut while towing the trailer. They are heavy made latches that worked out great for my application. They are built great for weld-on applications. I had to tweak a couple of thing for my personal use, but they are just what I was needing. Don't have to worry about losing the pin because it never leaves the bracket and stays in-place very well. Definitely recommend this for this type of use.

Good latch
Very good latch but had to grind off pull rings because they were too large and went to tractor supply and purchase pins to fit diameter of latch pull shaft. I would purchase again. These are very heavy duty and it give my trailer gate a very snug fit. I got so tired of hearing the gate rattle going own the road and now I have a very quiet trailer and couldn't be happier with this product.

Very strong and works well
Extremely sturdyI like this pin very much.Going to be welding it to my bumper on my truck for a job I need.I do wish the pin was stainless steel like the outside bracket it is in but I can easily do something about that with WD-40 or whatever.
