The shoes are very nice, but the leather is too hard. Problem if you have prints

Slipper review the only thing you have
The only thing you have to do is get him a size or a size and a half larger that's the only problem other than that they're amazing they fit well they're soft they're comfortable you just have to return them once or twice to get the right size other than that once you get your size you're good to go cuz they are smaller than what they say

The size of these slippers was mismarked, possibly knowingly dumped on the online market to get rid of them by LB Evans?
I bought a pair of these slippers on July 16, 2011 to replace an old pair of LB Evans Radio Tyme slippers of the same style but lesser quality. The replacement was marked as the same size as my old ones, but they were tight on my feet. Since I had worn the other ones for a long time I just attributed that to having “broken in” the old pair. So I only wore the new ones occasionally, and just for a little while. When they failed to stretch with wear I finally gave up and asked for them to be replaced, even though I had had them for over a year. Amazon’s service is “Amazing”. I so appreciate that they offered to replace them in a way that goes beyond their return policies. I discovered that the new slippers were a full inch shorter than the old ones, though both were marked as the same size. I suspect that the factory knew they had mismarked them and used Amazon to unload the slippers on unsuspecting customers. Perhaps this review will help those who read it to understand that Amazon’s easy return policy doesn’t allow manufacturers to get away with what manufacturers probably perceive as an easy way to get rid of merchandise that is defective. On a more serious note, I learned from the owner of the drop off location where I returned the items that next year Amazon will have to charge sales tax on online purchases. This is a highly illegal tax forbidden by the Commerce Clause of the US Constitution, and I hope that Amazon will vigorously oppose this, as will all online retailers such as Overstock. It will ultimately destroy Amazon as a place for consumers to shop, and put all those who use the company as their store fronts out of business. Below are copied and pasted relevant portions from the US Constitution:United States Constitution, Article I, Section 9, Clause 5“…No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State. No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another. …”Remember that when this was written nearly all interstate commerce went by ship because the states were located along the coast, so moving goods was done most easily by ship. There were no good highways for trucks and no motorized vehicles to travel as there are today. So any court that attempts to use the terms “Vessels” or “Ports” as an excuse to allow sales taxes from one state to another is attempting to mischaracterize what the Constitution says. Such rulings would be in order to comply with the demands of large retail chains whose customers are choosing to escape being overcharged with sales taxes, brought about by state and Federal government overspending caused in large part by public employee unions whose members are paid well over what those in the private sector are.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/constitution_transcript.html

Comfortable
This slipper performed as I had expected; comfortable, supportive, presents well visually. As a general rule with all/most foot ware; it’s imperative to always wear socks or foot liners. Although I use this slipper as a bedroom/house slipper, I always wear socks with them. Otherwise, I find that humidity, dampness or any moisture combined with the extreme pressure of full body-weight will quickly collapse the lining and interior of any footwear. I’ve wore these slippers in home every day for months with socks and almost no signs of wear whatsoever. I’d recommend these to anyone civil enough to wear socks along with them. Kudos for a great product.

Sturdy, but not as comfortable as I'd have liked
I bought these because the other brand I had been using was no longer available. That brand had soft soles. It was not obvious to me that these would have hard rubber soles. This makes them less flexible and less comfortable for the intended use as slippers. So -2 stars for this. However, the hard soles will probably last quite a bit longer than the soft soles did in the past, so +1 star for this, leaving 4/5 stars.

Need a wider width
Slippers were perfect for the right foot but my husband needs widow width which I failed to notice .I’m exchanging these very nice slippers for the correct fit.

Satisfied with L.B. Evans Mens Radio TYME II slipper
The first time I ordered this item it came from a different source. It stated the shoe ran slightly smaller than shown and to order 1/2 size larger. I did. I had to return it because it was too large. Ordered a second time that came from a different Amazon source. Fit OK.
