I had them for a little over a year and sadly they have broken. It seems instead of just having a bar that goes under a hook that acts as the lever, this just has two little studs that hook into recesses in the pin. One of the little studies broke. not nearly as sturdy a design as the traditional one.Other than this flaw they are great. It is just sad that I have had one of them break after a fairly short period of time.I messaged the manufacturer. There is a lifetime warranty. So though it is inconvenient that they broke at least I don't have to buy a new pair.

Received my clippers with next day delivery and my initial impression is that they are well constructed, properly sized and function very smoothly. I’m hoping they will resist rusting. Oh I almost forgot : both pair and a nail cleaner fit in the handy soft case with a nice magnetic latch. 5***** personal appliance!

These are high quality, well made nail clippers. I purchased expensive German made clippers in the past, but these are just as well constructed, and the angle is better on both the finger and toenail clippers. Customer service is also excellent.

The lever design is easy to keep a good grip and maintain good leverage in use. The cutters are very sharp and cut easily.

I have purchased many nail clippers in the past from all sorts of department stores. They are not worth buying. They either fall a part as you are using them or they slip out of your hand. You need to press very hard because they are not sharp. The Zizzili clippers are amazing. I was waiting for the "snap" but did not here it because they are very sharp. They cut the nail the others pinch them off. They also stay comfortably in your hand. The ergonomic design is great. It actually cuts down the time to cut your nails.

These seemed like heavy duty clippers, very sharp. Bought in September, broke in April. The pivot for the handle broke, rendering the small pair useless. Will keep the large pair but the small ones were great for my fingers. Caveat emptor.Update: The company contacted me and after a discussion on the failure mode, they sent me a replacement nail clipper. They have excellent customer service, so I improved my review to 5 stars.
