I purchased the LifeProof FRĒ SERIES Waterproof Case for my dad's iPhone SE (1st gen - 2016) YEARS AGO, and I must say it has exceeded all expectations.Durability (5/5): One of the standout features of this case is its rugged durability. My dad is not the most cautious when it comes to his phone (he is a contractor), but this case has proven to be shockproof and drop-resistant. It has saved his iPhone from countless accidental drops, and the phone still looks brand new.Waterproof (5/5): The waterproof feature is a lifesaver, especially for a phone that's a bit outdated. It's kept the phone safe from spills, rain when working outdoors. The tight seals and secure locking mechanism ensure that no water seeps into the case.Design (4/5): The design is sleek and functional, although it does add a bit of bulk to the phone. But considering the level of protection it offers, it's a reasonable trade-off. The case has become dusty over the years but when you take the case off my dad's phone looks brand new.

This is a tremendous case. It has saved my iPhone several times. It protects the phone completely. It Makes it 100% waterproof. As well protecting the screen perfectly from any type of damage what so ever. This case covers the phone completely. It has a "plug" that has a thick plastic gasket on it that fits into the head phone port, making that water proof as well. Another "snapping" closure, with a thick gasket, makes the charging port water tight as well. A thin plastic cover protects the screen from any damage that could possibly occur. The finger print sensor works 100% of the time through the protective film covering. One time I was making a dash through the parking lot, in the rain, for my car. As I was running in one direction, the phone fell out of my pocket, from about 3 1/2 feet, to the concrete, into a puddle. The case suffered some scratches but the phone was damage free. The other time it saved my phone was one night when I was washing dishes. The phone fell from my shirt pocket into dirty, greasy water (we had eaten taco's and the the water was really gross.) Once again, the phone had ZERO damage. This is the 3rd life proof case I've had but I don't blame the case. I'm hard on my phone. This case has kept me from having to buy a new phone at least twice. Excellent case. I think this case provides the absolute best protection of any case available. I've tried a lot of other cases and found this one the best. I also like that it did not add much bulk to the phone. For example, the "otter box" series of cases tend to be bulky. They add a lot weight and size to the phone. The Life proof cases are slim and tight on the phone and does not add much bulk at all. This is a case that provides "top of the line" protection for your phone.

Good stuff for the working man! This is my fourth LifeProof iPhone 5 case. I carry my phone in cargo pants thigh pocket, and I'm rarely without it. It goes everywhere I work and play. I never feel a need to baby my phone, because the LifeProof case is worthy of its name. All my phone's tools are accessible, and when I do remove my case, the phone is pristine. I haven't felt a need, or a desire, for any other iPhone case for at least five years. They do eventually wear out and need replacement. The weatherproof cover wears away off the top of the controls. And, of course, the screen cover will get scarred up while protecting your precious phone's screen. I can't recommend this case highly enough. Just be careful where you buy one. I got one from ebay that was new in the box, and it was apparently a knock-off, because it was just a little off the whole time I had it. The on/off button and other controls were not quite right, and the phone would talk to me almost daily when I'd sit down somewhere. (Seems the home button cover was too tight?) Anyway, I replaced it with one from Amazon and everything's right with the world again. PS: Don't fuss about the intro. I can only vouch for what I am. If you're not a working man, I really don't know how it'll suit you, but don't hesitate to try one anyway!

I ordered one of these the moment I ordered my iPhone 5S because I want to ensure that it lasts the full two years of my contract. I have friends with these cases, and they swear by them. (they work as kayak and stand up paddleboard instructors, so their phones are going in the Pacific Ocean) The biggest selling point for me was the fact that it doesn't add a lot of bulk compared to most waterproof cases. The case came before the phone did, so I did what LifeProof recommended and submerged the case WITHOUT THE PHONE under water for a minute to test the seals. I opened the case back up, and it was completely dry!The bottom line is that with this case, I don't have to leave in the car when I go out on the water, or worry about my klutziness breaking my iPhone!UPDATE: After 14 months, the rubber around the case is starting to rot. I am holding it together with some superglue patch jobs, but I no longer trust that the case will seal out water and debris properly. I will definitely order another, but am disappointed, considering that I will have to spend another $80 on a case for my phone until I upgrade.

Lifeproof need to still make these for the iPhone SE first gen.Its protected the phone so well.My phone is now nearly 7 years old and still going strong !After about 18 months some of the rubber starts to come away and as it is no longer possible to buy a replacement case I have actually found it is easy enough to repair. My current case is 2 years old and still doing its job. I would like a new one though !If new cases were still being made I would gladly buy them - so if your listening Lifeproof - please keep providing these for your customers!

Assolutamente consigliata, ho provato altre cover antiurto-waterproof ma questa, a mio avviso, è la migliore: isola bene il telefono, non da problemi a basse temperature e non disturba il segnale del telefono (alcune cover in alluminio mi hanno dato problemi) . A livello di durabilità: usandola tutti i giorni e al massimo delle sue potenzialità, mi è durata un anno e mezzo risparmiandomi l’aquisto di un telefono nuovo più e più volte.

Proteccion muy buena, el movil se queda como nuevo en el interior. Lo malo es posiblemente el tema de la camara que se queda a veces sucio entre el movil y carcasa y es dificil de limpiar

Ich bin von Beruf Förster. Dazu kommt, dass ich mit Fährtenhunden arbeite, um verletztes Wild zu finden, was wiederum eine sehr schweißtreibende Tätigkeit ist. Es kommt daher darauf an, dass mein Smartphone (iPhone SE) stets gut einsetzbar und sicher verpackt ist. Seitdem ich dieses Case habe, bin ich bei jedwedem Wetter im Wald unterwegs gewesen, das Telefon ist in Bäche gefallen, wurde Starkregen ausgesetzt, ist mir zweimal vom Dach des fahrenden Autos runtergefallen und einmal bin ich mit dem Geländewagen bei der Suche nach dem verlorenen Telefon auch darüber gefahren - das hat es alles ausgehalten. Ohne einen Kratzer oder ähnliches. Staub oder Feuchtigkeit sind nicht ins Gehäuse eingedrungen, jedoch löst sich seit ein paar Wochen langsam die obere Gummierung etwas ab. Bis dato jedoch ohne Einbußen hinsichtlich der Benutzbar- und Belastbarkeit. Der Touchscreen funktioniert problemlos - auch wenn ich Flächenberechnungen damit durchführen muss, wo es dann doch auf eine gewisse Präzision ankommt.Fazit: ich werde mir das Ding ggf. wieder kaufen. Klar ist es teurer als andere Hüllen, aber die anderen haben nicht mal im Entferntesten das ausgehalten, was diese Hülle überstanden hat.
