New uniform that fit well.

I'm a 5'2" ~125 lb female and a size 2 fit pretty much perfectly. The weight is a nice middle ground - light enough so that you're not dying while sparring, but heavy enough so you still get some snap. Did not shrink when washed and dried, at least not notably. Construction seems quality.

This Gi is made well, seams are tight and clean. The 12oz fabric is an upgrade from my lightweight practice gi. Great medium weight gi, especially if you are looking for more snap in tour kicks and punches.

My son is working on his Kung Fu black belt and needed a new uniform. We grabbed this based on the review and agree with them. The fabric is much thicker than newer uniforms and stiff at first but after a couple washed and being worn it's breaking in nicely.

Got a new gi for my son who is going for his 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan karate. It is the perfect weight to offer a snap but not be too heavy and hot.

size chart is wrong go up one size if you wear a 5 go to a 6 small size's

stitching cam undone under left arm with one machine wash and no way to send it back or have the top replaced - sad
