Not for Large Projects but… I LOVE this Little Blower!
You want a quick and simple review of a great product?Overview:I use this ALL THE TIME to clean my garage floor, clean my shelves in the garage from all the sawdust after a project, I blow out the dust from inside my vehicles, I blow the floors inside my house on low power to move the dust from the corners and stairs, and I use it on the patio and porch to move some leaves and dirt that accumulate. Its ideal for small to medium jobs if you don't need a ton of power or the need to move lots of material.PROS:1. Light and compact2. Powerful for the size3. Multiple power settings (3)4. Useful inside and out of house (I use it for my car)5. Compatible with most other Makita batteries6. Easy to store7. Removeable nozzleCONS:I don't have anything negative to say about this. Conclusion:I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight blower for household garage, porch, floors, or minor leaf blowing. If you have lots of leaves and heavier material you want to move you should buy a higher power dual battery version.

I didn’t know how much I used this until I gave it away
I received one of these with a multi tool purchase. I had it for several years, but at my new house I bought a Makita 36v weed cutter and started eyeing a full size blower as well. At the same time, I noticed my senior mother using a full sized electric blower with an extension cord to clear the patio and felt like she could use this little guy for the same job and not have any tripping hazards or heavy equipment. I gave my original to her and she loves it’s convenience. Cobwebs, dust, small leaves are all easily cleared. But I still am debating the full sized, and began noticing all the little quick jobs I’d use this for and ended up buying this again just 2 months later. I never really acknowledged the times I’d grab this to blow dust and debris from things, quickly clean up the garage floor, blow dust off the cars, etc… I a, still eyeing the full sized blower, but am very glad to have replaced this little guy.It does get fairly loud but not really on par with a large electric blower. Sometimes I find my shirt gets sucked into the intake (right handed), it might be nice to have that redirected with a removable piece or if it were on the other side. It’s not really something I used for long sustained blowing, so I find the battery life with a 5ah battery more than enough. To be honest, I’ve found portability and ease of use with Makita tools much more valuable than beast mode power. The vacuum attachment and longer nozzle look interesting but I really hate paying for something so simple, especially when I’m paying a premium over other tool brands already. Bare tool for Makita often means not even a spare piece of cardboard inside the package.

Blown Away
Was looking for an inexpensive battery powered blower for my 2 car garage/shop to replace my small corded blower. I have several Makita 18V tools and batteries, so this seemed a natural. Since i have a gas powered backpack blower I didn't need anything real powerful, just something to blow off the bench and shop floor. Makita has several other more expensive options but again, didn't need much. I am very impressed with the poser this has. more than enough to blowout the garage/shop. is even strong enough to blow off the driveway! I see that you can get a longer attachment to get the air flow closer to the ground but don't think its needed for what I use it for. It has a soft rubber nozzle like my corded one so its also perfect for blowing off the Harley after a wash. Very easy to maneuver and can direct the air into hard to reach places with no danger of scratching or denting anything. The variable speed is nice too when you dont need tornado power ....... NOW the little shortcomings:It's too easy to move the 3 position switch to a lower setting accidentally, reducing power. No trigger lock so you have to constantly hold it on. Finger fatigue. Spoiled because my corded one can lock on.It doesn't stand up on its own with or without the battery attached. Really?!?!The included literature is all in Chinese. Even the box looks like it's intended for a foreign market. Should I be worried??So far so good!

Easy to use and light weight.
Bought this to use when I don't want to drag out my corded Toro blower but I use it 99 percent of the time. I bought the extension wand and it does almost everything the Toro does. I already had 5 batteries for my other Makita tools so it was a no brainer. Would highly recommend it. Bernard
