Q: Can you set this phone up via wifi?

Wifi is not a good solution for voip. We use voiSip service and they recommended using DECT phones instead. DECT phones have much better range and audio quality than wifi, like 50 meters or more. There are some cordless handset models, and even some corded handset/desktop models. They connect back to the router through a DECT receiver, instead of wifi. Yealink makes both types, and they work great with our voiSip service. We use some of the cordless handset models in warehouses, and range is excellent.

Q: Will the seinhheiser cc 510 or sh230 headsets connect to this? the gs-gxp1630 info says yes to these and i want to make sure they will! thank you all

Yes, with the appropriate bottom cable. The phone has a headset port on the back with the same RJ9 port as a standard handset cable.
