Purchased for our daughter. Very easy to assemble as long as you can understand the cartoon like instructions. There are no written instructions. However, once you are past that learning curve, it goes together quickly. She loves it. It's quite sturdy and seems decently strong. One thing, I highly recommend you put it together in the room where it will be used. The dimensions, triangular configuration and the lack of a vertical support bracket at the point of the triangle make it quite difficult to move around the house. I had to take the bedroom door off the frame to get it in her room.

This desk served my purpose quite well. I was able to assemble it myself despite the fact the directions showed only pictures and no written script. It is very sturdy and ideal for a corner.
