Nothing like a perfectly working remote to make me smile!
My truck was broken into when moving and a box of electronic gear was stolen, the original remote among the items lost. I tried a few universal remotes with NO success. I can tell you it is a pain getting up and reaching around a TV to change channels, inputs, and volume! I feared that this purchase would be disappointing, but you should have seen my smile when I put the batteries in and pushed the power button. I am glad that my TV fit in the 99% of TCL televisions that this works for. It made my day / week / month / and maybe even my year!

Not operational
I really need to contact the seller. My husband just hooked up his TV and tried to use remote but it does not work. He changed the batteries thinking maybe the ones that came with it just were dead. Put new ones in it but still will not operate at all.

Said it was compatible for my tv but not.
It said it was compatible with my tv and doesn’t work. I Had my daughter come over and help her try and know it’s the remote it’s not compatible for my TV but it said it it is. Bummer

Works with TCL L40FHDF11TA 40-Inch
Worked out-of-the-box with my TCL L40FHDF11TA 40-Inch, purchased in 2011. This is the 2nd replacement remote. The previous replacement was another style and, presumably, different manufacturer which is no longer sold. I should buy a couple extra as backups before this one is EOL'd. I have no reason to think this remote is faulty, but considering that both the original and replacement died I don't expect this one to last more than a couple of years.

One of the best prices for a replacement remote or a universal remote! Easy to set up; literally put the batteries in and it was ready to use! Would recommend for someone who gets stressed out with finding a remote, programming or setting one up. Saves a lot of stress!
