Best deal on the net for a good gazebo
I got the 12x16.Pros and cons. Cons first because they're short. A couple screw holes had to be hogged out. And mounting a light or ceiling fan requires some ingenuity and skill unless you go with a simple, in-line switched chain light. I went with a ceiling fan. That required some special skills as a standard electrical box doesn't fit in the crest and it's difficult to mount.Pros:I'd recommend this gazebo to anyone unless you live in a hurricane prone area. It's sturdy. The assembly is simple. In my case, the curtains really do a great job blocking the afternoon sun. It's beautiful. I put it on my patio. Covering my patio was going to cost 7 times what this did. I'm completely satisfied. It is as advertised.I feel like I got a real bargain.

A Lot of Work, but Worth It!
I was looking for a nice heavy duty cantilever patio umbrella, but I noticed these metal gazebo structures cost about the same. So after looking for weeks and comparing metal gazebos, I settled on this one. I meant to take pictures of the process of putting it together, but I forgot so here are the "after" pictures. It has helped to create a relaxing space on my deck, and I love it so much. I added a fan and lights for an added relaxing experience. This has been one of my favorite purchases I have made in awhile. It arrived in three boxes, one came about three days after the other two. I had no place to put them inside so I left the boxes in the yard. They got rained on quite a bit but I wasn't worried because its for the outdoors anyways. Everything was packed nice and organized. The quality of the materials are nice and sturdy. The support columns were really light so I was a little worried about stability, but it has held up quite nicely during several thunderstorms. I also secured it to the deck using standard wood screws. The biggest CON I would say was the installation. Parts of the instructions weren't super clear. It took me around 8-10 hours total of the course of several days. And I used an electric drill for most of the process. I can't imagine anyone putting this thing together using ONLY the Allen wrench that is provided. But I suppose it could be done. Although I put most of it together myself, there are times when you definitely need another person. Not necessarily because the pieces are heavy, just awkward when trying to connect pieces if someone is not there to hold the other end up. The roof panels were BY FAR the most difficult thing to put together. Takes a lot of precision and patience.Speaking of the roof panels, the large individual panels are made up of two pieces, with the smaller piece overlapping the larger piece below it. Why it's just not one entire piece is beyond me. To me this seems like a design flaw as the more connections there are, the more ways rain can find its way through. The only reason I can think of why they did it this way is maybe because of the logistics of storing and shipping the pieces. With that said, I haven't had any leaks. There is a nice irrigation system designed into this gazebo that prevents any leaks. I have walked out during the rain several times with a flashlight and it stays dry. Also, the pieces do get really hot if left out in the sun, so be careful with that during installation. And on a really hot sunny day, by putting your hand close to the roof, you feel a LOT of heat coming off. That's why I would recommend keeping the curtains open and using a fan.But it is an amazing product, despite a few annoying things about installation. Once it's up though, it's totally worth it. It has transformed our deck, which we never used as much before, into another room of the house.

NICE GAZEBO
All parts were there, packaged in 3 separate boxes, labeled well. The frame can be assembled by one person with a little enginuity and some zip ties. All holes lined up, except 2 for one of the corner pieces, which I didn't need to screw in anyway, the piece was essentially aesthetic. The roof frame wasn't difficult. Everything is made of lightweight aluminum so it's very light relatively speaking. It all was going smooth, until I started the roof panels. A second hand is needed for sure to hold up in place, especially pushing up and in toward the center while the retaining bracket is screwed in to hold it in. Any slight movement and the panel will fall out of place, causing you to curse and lose it after the 10th time. Also, the edges of the sheet metal roof are like little hellish razor blades, so be careful and have bandaids nearby. Eventally,..u will get the hang of the large roof panels, and by the last one, u will be a pro. Definitely get a drill with a 4mm hex bit with small magnetized extension and philips head screwdriver. It will go much quicker. All said and done, it's worth the money and looks great so far. It rained this morning and no leaks to speak of.

Game Changer!
I purchased this 12x16 gazebo in June of 2023. The unit arrived with no issues, packed in several boxes. I built this on my own, with only a little help from my neighbors to get the high beams up and securedI must say, this has been a game changer for us! This amazing gazebo was extremely easy to put together (yes, I'm a handy guy, so that helped) with directions that couldn't be easier to follow. Just take your time, separate the parts based on the boxes they arrived in. Open the bubble wrapped screws and other misc. parts in baggies in order to save time peeling them off one at at time. Use your battery operated drill/screw bits versus the supplied hex wrench. The gazebo is so well built, I couldn't believe it. EVERY piece fit where it was supposed to with NO additional drilling or trying to 'fudge' it into place. The fit and finish of each part is perfect! It's obvious that much thought has gone into the design and manufacture of this fantastic unit! It has added greatly to our outdoor living. For years, we basically had a deck that was unusable due to the amount of sun that beat down. But that has all changed! I added a really cool ceiling fan (see photos) to help cool things down on warmer days. A 32" TV with ceiling mount to watch some football games and YouTube videos. And the fire table was a PERFECT addition for cool evenings! My wife spends as much time as possible in this new area. We haven't had the need to use the supplied curtains or bug screens. But we've got them up and ready for when they are needed. You won't go wrong with this gazebo! It checks all the boxes for a superior outdoor living experiences!FIRETABLE: https://www.amazon.com/Real-Flame-Ledgestone-Rectangle-Propane/dp/B07BW7CGDR/ref=sr_1_5?crid=7S5MU8P70HOT&keywords=real+flame+ledgestone+fire+table&qid=1696871859&sprefix=realflame+ledgestone+firetable%2Caps%2C83&sr=8-5
