I was hoping these batteries where not made in China ...
I was hoping these batteries where not made in China. To early to tell how they will do over the next few years. So far no problems- I purchased them in Feb. 2017

First purchase of these items via Amazon. I have used these before and they perform very well. They have good longevity, and I've used them for more than twenty years.

Batteries are larger than standard 9-v batteries, don't fit well
The battery bodies are longer than standard batteries. They are 4.5 cm instead of 4.3 cm. I had to force the battery into the smoke detector to get it to go in.
