Cheap for a reason

This battery appeared to be a good option to the OEM Canon battery when I ordered it just over two years ago. It did work OK but didn't have the capacity of the genuine Canon battery. I just charged it today and when I put it into the camera slot it had resistance indicating the battery had swelled up a bit. When I turned the camera on the battery indicator showed it was low just like before I charged it. I had a difficult time removing the battery from the camera because had gotten larger but got it out with the help of a small screwdriver. I put the original Canon battery in and that showed fully charged. Don't take a chance on ruining your camera by buying this inferior battery.

Battery is very good as advertised

This battery does an excellent job at holding its power. It has a higher mAH than the regular canon battery, and it’s very good for charging. It can last me over 2.5 hours of straight 30 second exposures, so even longer for regular photography.
