I have super thick hair, a big head & a tendency to get bad headaches from headbands that squeeze my head. Normally the only headbands I can wear are fabric (and even some of those are too tight or slip or can't contain my hair), but sometimes I want something less casual. These are great for when I want to hold my hair back but don't want to look like I'm going to the gym. They hold my hair without slipping (even at the loosest setting - they are totally adjustable to fit any size head), and they don't squeeze my head at all so no headaches! They're also cute! They don't seem super durable, but even if they don't last a super long time, I think they're worth it. I'll adjust my review if they turn out to be junk.

I absolutely love this brand and make of headband.I’m usually very sensitive to anything too tight or contracting around my head. I get head aches easy when my hair is pulled back all day. Most headbands I buy get stretched over a chair or drawer over night before I can even wear it.And mind you ,my head isn’t very big! I have a small heart shaped face and am very slender.Hipsy brand headbands have changed the game for me ! Not only are their designs outstanding and have the best accessory hair piece, they have a soft velvet/smooth fabric on the side that touches your head and around your ears 😇 Of course the greatest part is you can adjust & size the head band to your liking for comfort.This is definitely a must have for those that want hair out of their face but want to look like a cutie instead of a house cleaner lol

These headbands are interesting. They're sturdy, pretty, and adjustable, but they're not super simple to use. I have to put them on my head and then adjust them because the leather makes them impossible to put over your head unless they're completely loosened - especially if you're trying to put them over a bun or other hairstyle. Then I have to adjust them while they're already on my head and I've not been able to get them tight enough yet to keep them from slipping off an hour later. So these aren't the best no slip headbands I've used - maybe not even 2nd best - but they're pretty and work mostly.

Great adjustability for all sized heads and velvet lining meant no slippage all day long. This was a nicely wrapped set of two suitable for gifting. My only complaint is the peacock printing is only on the surface and in profile has a white edge of the white faux leather is was cut from. Just didn't match the pattern and looked less than classy.

I initially bought one pack of 5 assorted headbands to try them out. I absolutely love them!!!!! I ended up buying four more packs of them. They don’t slide back, and they are adjustable (similar to a bra strap) which makes them even better because you can control how tight or loose you would like them. The glitter ones are my favorite. I get so many compliments!

I must have an odd shaped head, as these really didn't fit well. I gave 5 stars because these are really cute! I gave them to a person who can wear them better than I could.

Seriously, I very, very rarely write reviews (although I rely on them myself). So this is in the hope of helping someone else. I recently cut horrible ShOrT bangs on mySELF, by MYSELF and I'm no hairdresser (visualize the horror!).. I other wise have long hair and haven't cut it in a long time aside from my usual trims. Needless to say I was in search of some sort of remedy/miracle!I'm so thankful I found these!! Didn't expect them to be this comfortable. I can put in on (preferably the thicker ones for now since my bangs are so short) they don't slip and they are ADJUSTABLE! Such an awesome option and genius invention!Another reviewer mentioned how these don't give the usual headband-headache and she was totally accurate! I'm very sensitive to pressure from clips or headbands and I'm able to sleep in these!Plus they're cute and versatile.

These headbands are really nice because they're adjustable. I've never seen adjustable headbands before; these work the same as a bra strap. I like to wear it looser because I get migraines. I think the only issues I have are that I would like more solid colors so that I can match it with more and maybe a set without glitter: I work in a business casual environment AND I'm the youngest so I can't get away with glitter headbands haha but it's OK on the weekends. I would prefer a more muted set for professionals/older women. It's not SUPER high quality, like the fabric isn't the best but I think it's worth it for the price, especially because it's adjustable and you get a 5 pack. I'm trying to grow out a pixie cut over here (yikes) so these will definitely come in handy. They also stay all day and don't slide around, I didn't have to keep pushing it forward in the back. You can also wear these with glasses (weee!), where you can't with traditional headbands unless you want divets and pain on your head. Overall, I recommend!
