The oil is high grade quality considering the low price tag. It is versatile as it can be consumed on its own or with other food combinations. Really happy with this purchase.

I’m unsure about the effectiveness of this MCT oil.It has the same consistency as others I have taken, but I just didn’t feel it working like I do with others. .I wouldn’t order again.

I didn't know what to expect when I got this as most things these days are made to be more palatable making them easier to taste.This feels like it would feel to drink cooking oil, I have never dream cooking oil, but I imagine it would have the properties as this. The taste wasn't bad but the consistency is what put me off, it just feels like oil.I've really struggled to take this, I can't seem to cope with the consistency.As with most supplements is difficult to know if they work or not and sometimes you just have to take it on faith that is doing you some good.

I take one teaspoon in the morning with food. Sometimes, I also add it in my coffee as a bulletproof coffee.It's very clear and has virtually no detectable coconut taste, well, it doesn’t have any flavour at all. Therefore would be suitable when adding to any recipes and concoctions.For anyone who's new to taking this energy-boosting oil, MCT stands for Medium-Chain Triglycerides of fatty acids. These fats can be quickly converted by our body into energy. MCT oil is usually derived from palm or coconut oil. There are four types of MCTs: caproic acid (C6), caprylic acid (C8), capric acid (C10), and lauric acid (C12). And caprylic acid (C8) seems to be the most metabolically active medium-chain fatty acid. And this particular MCT C8 oil has just that as its main ingredient- caprylic acid.For most normal healthy people, these fatty acids should not give any adverse side effects. Nevertheless, they might not be suitable for people who are allergic to coconut oil or those with liver problems.The possible side effects reported are nausea, stomach problems, vomiting and diarrhea. And it's excellent value for the amount too.Pros:• Supercharges coffee and enhances brain function (for him at least)• High calorie, no carb oil for aiding in ketogenic diets• Easily digested and can help you feel full for longer• Good quality oilCons:• High in saturated fat, so probably not good for those with cholesterol issuesMy partner will use this stuff twice maybe three times a week; it's definitely not an everyday thing for him, but in the morning he will make his usual coffee with 15ml of this oil and some butter, mix it up and smash it down.The oil seems good quality. You get quite a lot in the bottle and it's the consistency you'd expect. It doesn't taste like anything and has no odour so that's a plus - you get the benefits without bad flavour.He seems to think that his brain function is better, and that his coffee is so much more effective but not in a jittery way. Looking into it, the science behind how this all works is quite interesting, so do your research into it.All in all, my partner loves it. He isn't on a ketogenic diet, but still likes to use it (sparingly due to its' calories and saturated fat content)!
