Hawaiian Jasmine & Vitamin E Moisture Cream

I could write volumes, but I just completed 3 reviews and am ready to be done! (no I don't get paid for trying / reviewing products - I just benefit from reading others' input so I try to do my part) Besides very simply put this is the moisturizer for me as long as they keep making it. And I love Alba products, no animal testing, supporting them as a company, so all around it's a perfect match. My Skin: - used to be very oily with acne as teenager. Acne diminished in 30's Oily through to my early 40's. - now have combo skin, but the oily portion is minimally so and same can be said for dry portion. What I Love about this Moisturizer: - the FRAGRANCE! A very light jasmine. And I mean light so it's not sickeningly sweet, but enough to transport you to the islands! - ABSORBS AMAZINGLY WELL! I apply a reasonable amount over my face, neck and "decolate" and by the time I'm done applying it's already absorbed into my skin. - NO greasiness - Makes my skin INCREDIBLY SOFT - right away and it actually stays that way. I wash, tone and moisturize my face typically twice a day. And so it easily keeps my skin soft between 2 cleansings. But on those rare days I only manage to wash my face once a day, my skin is still soft and toned. - Sometimes I'll use it on my hands - especially after I've moisturized my face. I also like it around my cuticles. No complaints at all. Buy it - you won't be unhappy!

This cream is a revelation. I have had problems with my skin for the longest time what with pimples, whiteheads and blisters . My skin is very sensitive as well very oil ( combination skin in fact with T zone) and I was tired of trying product after product. Each time I would toss the product after a few uses and off I go to the drug store to buy another. However, I am so happy with my Alba Botanica Hawaiian Moisture Cream. It is a keeper. First of all, the cream is very light and non-greasy. It glides on smoothly and does not use an oily residue on my face. It is comparable in price to other lotions out there- in fact it is very good value for money. The ingredients are all natural and no synthetic chemicals are used , so it is very good for my hypo-allergenic skin. The cream uses Vitamin E, Sweet almond oil and many other natural ingredients that are necessary to maintain a clean, blemish free complexion. The only draw back would be the somewhat over -powering fragrance of Jasmine which can be cloying at times , but it is not lingering. I highly recommend this cream . First off, I'm giving the Alba Jasmine cream the full 5 stars because it is fantastic. However, I cannot recommend purchasing it through Amazon. The cream is $15 at my local drugstore and that is where I usually purchase it. I thought I would save a few dollars and get it here in Amazon as it was just under $9. Big mistake! The product I received was very obviously old. I mean really old. The packaging was different and the box was smashed & covered in dust. The cream itself smelled odd and was off-white with a brown & yellowish tinge. It is supposed to be a thick, pure white color cream. So, be very wary of buying it on Amazon. When you do get the corrrect & fresh product however, it is a lovely scented, light, but deeply moisturizing cream. It almost instantly makes my complexion look and feel nicer. It lasts a good 4-5 months as well. Highly recommended.

I started using this product on my face 15 years ago, and now I buy it here on Amazon because it is the cheapest place I can find it. This is a lovely cream that works wonders for the dry skin on my face. I even got my 30 year old daughter hooked on it! It has a pleasant fragrance that isn't too overpowering. It's not greasy and absorbs into my skin nicely. Buying skincare products that are more naturally based has always been important to me, and this one meets most of my criteria. It has soothing aloe vera as well as extracts of numerous botanical plants. It is also certified organic, which is another plus. The 3 ounce jar is actually a good size and this will last me for several months using it on a daily basis. I will continue to use it because it gives me the results I am looking for in a face cream.

A first time buy and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a light cream which doesn’t feel heavy on the face compared to others. It’s natural, and hypoallergenic which is a massive plus for people with sensitive skin. It left my face feeling soft after just minutes. It wasn’t greasy like most other creams and went on smoothly and easily; after it was on it didn’t feel like it. The smell isn’t off-putting, however it is slightly overpowering but it doesn’t last long. It’s certainly worth the buy.

I use this moisturizer in combination with their face wash and acne pads. I use the wash first, then acne pads, then moisturizer. I have problems with cystic acne, and combination skin. Partially from going off birth control, and PCOS. I also have extremely sensitive skin. This combination after a month of use has helped my skin a ton. The acne I get now is much smaller bumps that go away quickly. Its gentle, and has helped me so much. This moisturizer in specific is very light, has a nice smell. And helps hydrate my skin. It's not greasy like other products, and it doesn't dry my skin out. I have tried so many different products, my most recent peach slices and it just didn't work. It made it worse. Please give this a try, in combination with their other products. If you have similar issues, it might be worth it.

A long time favorite! I prefer to use natural and organic skin & health care products so as one may imagine I have tried nearly everything under the sun. I can honestly say that I keep coming back to this Alba Botanica Vitamin E & Jasmine Cream. It is a nice light texture, not greasy at all. It spreads nicely over the skin and smells divine. It does have a scent but it is very soft and subtle fragrance of soft Hawaiian jasmine that fades quickly within a few minutes after applying. The results of this product are amazing! I use in conjunction with the matching eye gel Alba Botanica Hawaiian, Green Tea Eye Gel, 1 Ounce with fantastic results. Oh and by the way, my skin type is dry and I currently live in a dry climate. I'm so happy to have found this cream years ago and have it in my skin care routine for a long time and running. I highly recommend! When I was a teenager, I used to use the oil-free Alba Botanica moisturizer, and accidentally bought some of this once (the packaging is very similar). At the time, I felt that oil caused breakouts on my face (in reality it was the scalding hot, daily showers I was taking, plus hormones), so I avoided it like the plague, and thus this product went into a tupperware box and didn't come out until years later. I'm not sure how that box made it through 4 moves (2500 total miles!), but I recently rediscovered it when I had a bizarre bout of dermatitis flare up on my face and was desperate to moisturize the cracking and wrinkles that were forming overnight. This product is the ONLY thing that could keep my skin moisturized, and in fact- made all of the other skin on my face look like I had a primer and foundation on! I wouldn't be surprised if this were the reason my dermatitis cleared so quickly! I ended up using the whole thing in just a couple of months, and bought a new jar here on Amazon. Thoughts: 1) This product is EVEN BETTER fresh! (Duh, I know, but I was excited.) 2) The price is unbelievable. I paid like $14 back when I first purchased it, so $5.50 seems insane. Now that my dermatitis is healed, this product is even better after exfoliation (I use baking soda and milk, personally). Just as a disclaimer- I don't actually wear primer or foundation so I'm not sure how this would fare underneath makeup, but I'm absolutely loving it as the only product I put onto my facial skin.
